Hotel is maintained nicely, staff is supportive and friendly.
Rooms are showing their age. No in room safe, no in-room technology plate, wireless access only,
Bedding was terrible, paper thin
Big room. Walking distance to shopping (Westfield Topanga).
Noisy. The room is not well insulated from noise in the hall way and adjacent rooms. The mattress was too soft. The bed frame made noise and had to be fixed. No safe in the room for valuables. Internet costs extra. $17 for parking.
Due to an oversight from booking.com we ended up without a place to stay for the evening, we never tried kayak before and in less than a minute we secured a room, cheaper than the original booking. The hotel was clean room was spacious they had a shuttle in a three mile radius. Close to shops malls etc.
Hated the lumpy pillows , gel pillows work so much better. Our heads weigh a lot so down pillows just get smashed down. Shower head was way too high and was low flow,
Weekend rates were excellent and it is centrally located within a mile of dozens of restaurants, a movie theatre, malls, etc.. 15 minutes from the beach and 30 minutes from Hollywood. Great location if you are visiting someone in the West San Fernando Valley
The lobby was under constructions so it was a little bit hectic with the limited operating space.
A jug of milk, ordered for my three young children was 22 dollars.
Price was, great for a safe and clean room.
Had to pay $17 for parking when there are plenty of parking in near by malls. Room was no frills but clean and comfortable
Why is there no pool at this facility?
The proximity to the bus/transport system became a real plus for us. The bus to the metro and then the metro itself were far better to get to the city than any cab or car as the traffisd is so bad. The Orange line bus had its own road and was very eficient, cheap and clean. The room was well appointed. Also there were reasonable eateries nearby.
Information regarding tourist services such as taxis, shuttles, transport could be improved as staff seemed unaware of possibilities or were inaccurate with the information. It appeared that a private car was almost assumed and for those of us who were overseas travellers, without provate or hire cars, transport links are vital. To get taxis around a city as larga as LA is very pricey. A po9ol would have been good to allow that relaxation time when you travel.
The size of the rooms and the location of the hotel.
Although the breakfast buffet were good, the restaurant's services were not satisfying.
Safe neighborhood. Right next door to Cheesecake Factory (Yummm).
Parking fees were unexpected. I guess that's California though.
it was easy to get in and out of the garage and the hotel. staff was great and the breakfast buffet made it easy to start the day.
