The seat on row 11 was a little hard cause my butt was hurting a little bit from sitting after and hour.
My issue is not with Alaska for but with the travel agency. The fact that i can't change my flight online, means that using you as a travel agency is a net negative. I only do it because I am forced to, but I am not happy about it.
The flight was late, almost missed my connecting flight. There was no communication from the crew and when I asked the flight attendant I received no assistance. Terrible flight!!!!
The aisles were very narrow for passing and too long to get to the restrooms. You asked to check carryons at boarding, but the bag was not at the luggage carousels on arrival and no information given as to where to pick them up.
They changed our flight to Kalispel and we ended up getting there close to midnight. The return flight got changed as well by a few hours. Then of course some issues with the plane and we were even later. First time flying Alaska, may be my last.
The crew was excellent. We brought our own snacks due to dietary requirements and personal preference. There was an ample beverage selection. The seating was comfortable enough. My only complaint was that there was no announcement, or at least none that we could hear, that our connecting flight was departing from a different terminal. That could been announced by the air crew in flight or before disembarking.
when we arrived crew told us our luggage was at a certain location , waited for nearly an hour after landing and no luggage was there. turned out the luggage was somewhere else far away and no one told us. very incompetent.
5 hr flight with no meal service is just unacceptable. We got pretzels and a drink..
Flew first class. No headrest screens on either flight and the one flight had no foot rests either.
I missed my flight by a couple of minutes due to my previous flight sitting on the tarmac for an hour. I was already checked in and they refused to wait an extra 5 minutes. So of course I had to get another flight and the attendant told me 11 am. ( it was 12 am when i went to the desk) so i couldnt get a hotel because they were all booked so i ended up sleeping on the floor at the airport. The next morning i discovered the attendant schedule me for an 11 pm flight…NOT 11 am. Why would i spend an entire day at seattle airport???? So fortunately i stopped at a gate where an attendant was able to get me on the 1230 pm flight but since they had already rescheduled my flight i had to yet again go to the service desk to get an “override” Monday morning 10 am alaska service center had 2 people working with 15 people ahead of me. Thankfully your 1-888 customer service line wait time was 20 minutes but it was a less than pleasurable experience when i only have a few days off of work to enjoy and im depending on the airline to have it together.
