Sydney Airport (less commonly referred to as the Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport) opened in 1920 and continues to be the first airport in the world to run continuously. Reaching Sydney Airport is pretty easy regardless of the starting point. All drivers should head towards Mascot, NSW, Australia, just six miles to the south of Sydney. The airport is well marked with universal airport signs (a large white airplane on a darker background) and road signs should be easy to follow. Those looking for the International Terminal (Terminal 1) want the Airport Drive turn-off. Those wanting Terminal 2 or Terminal 3 (both Domestic) should look for Joyce Drive or Qantas Drive.
