The only poor experience was the flight the day before was canceled. I have flown enough to change as soon as notified. That was a huge plus for AA. Obviously I paid out of pocket for a hotel. Not AA choice , it was mine. I had resources. Other friends on the same flight were more affected. I know everyone is doing their best and the ability to change my flight was a good move AA.😀

Flight was canceled and then rescheduled on another flight. Paid for first class but moved to the back of the plane. Then put up in the worst/dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. American Airlines should be ashamed of putting their passengers/customers in a place that filthy.
I don't like that I have to pay if I want extra leg room. The seats are so expensive; I sit in normal seats and my legs and knees cramp the entire flight. I never feel comfortable on AA flights.
It was Christmas and the crew was awesome. And the passengers were patient.
We appreciated that the AA agent at the check in desk was aware that we might not make our connecting flight from Liberia to Miami due to delays. He immediately got us on an earlier flight, which meant less time in the airport and the ability to catch our flight home. Without him, we might had to spend a night in Miami, which we could not do due to work schedules once we got home. This action is what made this flight sequence excellent.
One hour late taking off. Concerning, very hard landing. Uncomfortable seats with no recline. Extremely slow baggage claim. Very professional, knowledgeable flight attendants. Brand new, very clean plane.

Flight was delayed...not horribly late. Just before push back engine shut down for a quick replacement item that took about five minutes. After that, everything was smooth and the pilot was able to make up time in the air so that our arrival time was not too far off the original anticipated arrival time.
Bad, my flight was delayed several hours. I was suppose to leave at 6:25pm, did not end up leaving till almost 11:00pm.
The flight was delayed almost two hours on the front end, and an hour on the backend once we landed and waited for a gate to open up. We were told to remain in our seats during that whole delay and I had to go to the bathroom badly. I was unable to hold it and was forced to urinate in my pants while in my seat. I then had to sit in it until we finally deboarded and I was able to change my clothes.
The flight was delayed. The boarding process disorganized. Poor communication regarding the delays. We were sitting on the runway in Boston for over 1-hr. Again very poor communication regarding the status. Bags didn’t arrive after almost 2-hr wait. I gave up and went home without my bag and had to return to the airport to pick it up the next day. This was my first and my last time flying with Spirit Airlines. From checking in to de-planing it was not an enjoyable travel experience. Everything felt very budget and amateur hour. I will commend the employees I encountered for trying to do what they could to improve the situation. However, they couldn’t make up for all the other things - small uncomfortable seats with no usb plugs, no entertainment options, lack of adequate staff to assist with check in, etc. Even if the ticket price is more, I will choose another airline next time.
The plane itself felt old, rattled a lot, was louder than most planes, and made us so nauseous that our son vomited on both flights.
4 hour delay and hardly attempt to make it up. I might be stranded in Vegas tonight.
