Captain and Crew were excellent. The Boeing 737-800 was showing its age. In flight entertainment system was sluggish and my Business Class seat on the outbound flight had some mechanical issues. Only real problem was the location of the Gate in Panama PTY. It was a 40 minute hike from Security to the Gate. There should have been some sort of warning about the distance.

I liked the friendliness of the crew and comfortable flight. All good.

No complimentary food and beverage (water, soda, coffe) is offered for a six and a half hours long international flight, not even in premium economy, just to try to squeeze a few more dollars out of the passengers. First and last time flying with Avianca.

Flight departure late. Got late in Colombia making us take a different flight next day. Avianca airport crew messed up my ticket so when a I got in Brazil I didn’t have a ticket for my destination. Had to buy a new ticket out of my pocket.

My international flight from LAX to Argentina had one free check in bag included in the price I paid, however your crew in LAX made me pay $95 USD to carry it on! Please note I had only on small size luggage (carry on size) and one backpack. I demand my $95 USD back that you guys charged me illegally in LAX.

Seats in coach aren't padded enough for a 6 hour flight

Nice aircraft. Plane was PACKED full and distance between seats was tight. Had it been more than a two hour flight it would not have been tolerable. I had much more knee space on the JetBlue flight I went out on.

The WiFi and app don’t work as easily as other airlines

Rather than take our chances on stand by since we missed our flight as scheduled due to delay leaving London, we accepted re-booking via Austin. After 2 1/2 hr. wait before going to El Paso we had a very smooth trip and our luggage sent on the missed flight was there for easy claim.

No frills, limited comfort, no food, no entertainment, but fine

Our flight was delayed two hours. We nearly missed our connecting flight and had to rush across the airport with little kids and all their luggage. They didn’t give us enough time to walk from one gate to the other, then when we got on, we waited another half hour while the crew loaded cargo. It seems like they could have given passengers more time if they had cargo to load anyway.

My flight experience was OK. The crew are friendly. The Flight was smooth. One thing that didn’t sit well with me was when I was checking in from RSW to head to Nashville the ticket agent told me I didn’t have a seat assignment and asked if I wanted to upgrade to first class for $50. I said no. I was placed in the third row middle seat. Upon taking off the flight attendant asked if anyone wanted to move. He specifically mentioned the third row was the worst because the lack of legroom. There were 70 open seats on the flight. Just wondering why with 70 open seats the ticket agent would place me in a middle seat in the worst row.

There are additional charges for everything including water. If you are unwilling to pay additional charges you are afforded no comfort at all. Seats are smaller than other airlines and do not recline. Schedule changes appear to be customary because you encounter them on departure and return.

They're terrible. 3 to 4 hours delayed. Also they don't even offer you water in the flight. You have to purchase everything. The seats are so uncomfortable. Never again will flight with them.

Great for a short flight. Inexpensive, but you get what you pay for in comfort.

Although the plane seemed new, the seats are pretty uncomfortable and you could not recline them.
