Westjet requires you to check in on your cellular. This takes about 5 minutes compared to when there were live humans doing check in. Ultimately the machine meant to spit out boarding passes and baggage tag went into the pinwheel of death. I also got a sternly worded email telling me I was ineligible to check bags, even though I’d checked one. The dude who eventually checked me in barely grunted at me and didn’t give me a baggage check. Had my luggage gone missing, I don’t know how it would have gone. And then there is the chaos as people jammed huge carry ons into small overhead bins. Westjet is a cattle car.

WestJet ran out of dinner meals on a transatlantic flight. Crappy to have a bun and a bit of lettuce for food on a long and not inexpensive flight. Flight staff did not look for options to resolve.

Delayed 2 days in London England - very poor communication from Westjet

The Priority check in in Toronto rivalled the poorest I've experienced. The young woman at the desk (7:30 AM, YYZ) was unfriendly and abrupt, behaving as though we were interrupting her day. Her inch long fingernails said it all....I really don't belong here. Other than that, WestJet personnel provided a good travel experience, especially in flight. I must say that the repeated announcements about the cabin being full and how folks should gate check their bags became tedious. WestJet should just offer free checked luggage and charge for carry on suitcases. It would save a lot of time and the voices of the gate agents.

Wish there was an option to book a fellow traveler who is not necessarily paying on the same booking. Then the airline could consider placing us together. It was a long flight to be separated from travel buddy. The first meal, a luncheon I think was ok with warmish pasta and a tiny salad. The second meal, a midnight snack (hard to say because of the time change) was really awful pizza fold-ups, and no option for folks who cannot eat cheese.

It was a 35 minutes flight. Didn't expect much. You should add a 'not applicable' option to your survey.

The back seats are crowded and at times uncomfortable. I guess that’s part of the price of paying less for a seat.

My journey from Rome to Seattle contains two parts, first from Rome to YYC then transfer YYC to Seattle. First part from Rome to YYC was wonderful. Fly on times, easy boarding and comfortable seating and good meals. Second from YYC to Seattle is terrible, delayed three times before boarding. No meal, no water, no entertainment. Landed in some corner of airport , walking in bitter cold night and taking the bus. My friend told me that Westjet is the best airline in Canada, I doubt it

They lost our luggage and didn’t return it until 15 days AFTER we got back.

Adequate though food was not great and no alcohol abailable
