Based in northern England, Helen grew up in Yorkshire - God's own country, they say - with holidays in the Lake District, both instilling a love of the outdoors. She has written for most of the UK's national press, with Italy, Switzerland and New Zealand - plus her home turf - favourite destinations. Being British, she loves tea, gin and a proper scone.
