Pros (+) The location was perfect for the rail station and walkable to the old town Basel.and the Rhine river. The room and bathroom were a good size and staff extremely good. It has a restsurant,bar and outside terrace for drinks from the bar. Two minutes walk from room to the tram stops.

Pros (+) Location is very central, a slight sound of the trams moving through Bahnhofplatz, rooms very comfortable and bathrooms clean and efficient. Restaurant serves a good range of delicious meals.
Cons (-) all was very good for my stay, I always chose Hotel Victoria when in Basel, I have tried others but they do not have the same comfortable and welcoming feel. Staff make a;ll the difference, I always see a smiling face at reception and around the hotel.

Pros (+) The room was clean and the bed was excellent. The location is amazing, close to the train station and everything else. The staff was very professional and I felt welcome. I would definitely stay here again. City transport is easily accessible from the hotel.

Cons (-) - You can hear the sounds of trams. - Nowadays even hotels in Europe offer some amenities, but almost no amenities. No shampoo, no hair conditioner, just all in one liquid for the whole body. - The air conditioner doesn’t work.
