Do the research, Todd: Introducing our latest campaign, KAYAK Deniers.

Picture this: you’ve brought your new boyfriend on vacation with the family. It’s the first time they’ve met the parents – so you’ve geared yourself up for a week of relaxing, dad jokes, and slightly awkward dinner conversation. But there’s just one problem – mom is a KAYAK Denier.

Our newest ads play up the current cultural moment: where everything is suspect and nothing is believed – especially each other. It’s a weird world, laughing helps. In KAYAK Deniers, we craft scenarios where someone is adamant that “KAYAK isn’t real.” Whether they just can’t wrap their minds around the fact that we search hundreds of sites to instantly give you an abundance of options for your trip – or they simply believe the best travel search engine on the planet is all smoke and mirrors – there’s just no reasoning with them.

And while the people around them cringe – there’s always that one person, standing up for our travel search engine. What you’re left with is an awkward vacation moment, while the on-lookers can’t do much more than roll their eyes and agree that next year, dad is staying home.

These ads were made in partnership with Supernatural, a creative agency that combines human creativity with insight from AI and machine learning, who we also worked with on our 2021 ad campaign that tapped into the universal mentality that, after a year of quarantine, “nothing can stop us from vacation!”
