2020 has been quite a year for travelers. Travel providers are listening to patrons: hotels are updating their check out and cleaning policies, vacation rental providers are offering long-term stays, and now, some major US airlines are eliminating change fees.
These adjustments are all in favor of you, the traveler. Now, you can book a trip without the worry that, should something change, you have to shell out beaucoup $$$ in order to reschedule that flight. And right now, this doesn’t appear to be a “for the next 30 days” change. Rather, it seems it could be a long-term shift in policies. (Of course, with each unique airline, there are certain conditions so be sure to check policies directly.)
