Pros (+) check in/out fine. Good selection of food at buffet. Staff was very friendly. Good drinks at pool bar. Italian cuisine was pretty good, as was wine selection. Pool was clean and orderly.
Cons (-) found seafood restaurant lacking (e.g. only ONE fish on the menu!). Had hard time fitting into bathroom. Bathtub was a SAFETY HAZARD!! (slippery) which should have been corrected. Water was shut off multiple times without notice!!

Pros (+) The staff were friendly, and our spacious room was clean with comfortable beds. We stayed at the VIK Cayena Beach, which felt wonderfully uncrowded. My wife absolutely loved the hotel’s spa, especially the talented manicurist-pedicurist Nadia.
Cons (-) Access to the beach was far from convenient—we had to navigate steep, awkward paths down and back up. With just a little effort, it could have been made much more user-friendly.

Cons (-) The food options tended to high carbs and deep-fried preparations. The salad bar at La Trattoria was limited and not very interesting. After a week of eating within the resort complex only, we got a little tired of the food. The disco/night club goes strong every night, so it can be a little noisy for rooms at that end of the hotel.
