We both couldn’t resist the charm of Emanuel the receptionist. What can I say, he was always there to greet you with a beautiful smile and genuine warm welcome day or night. We decided to stay on because of his charm, truly a great asset to the hotel. The hotel itself is very dated, but excellent value for money. Needs a good revamp, but you get what you pay for. Rooms very spacious either fantastic views, pool area great too. Breakfast was good with variety of cooked and cold foods, choice of pastries, fruits and yoghurts.
Bed mattress needs changing as very hard, but this was soon solved when I put the blankets under the sheets.

Location, great views, clean rooms, regular laundry cleaning. Emanuel the receptionist made our holiday. He was so helpful and full of enthusiasm, nothing was too much of a problem. He recommended places to visit which was very useful, but was so attentive to everyone of all nationalities, a fantastic asset to the team. Booked a further 5 days because of his charm.
The steep hill, but we did get used to it. Although to be fair the taxis are under €5 so very cheap. But this is not the hotels fault. If I had to moan about something I think they could have had a kettle in the room. But it was no hardship boiling the water in a saucepan.

Our stay in the hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. Upon arrival, the apartment was extremely dirty: there were food leftovers on the floor, the bedding was unclean, and the fridge had standing water and was greasy and dirty. I filed a complaint, but only one sheet was replaced. In addition, the noise was unbearable: there is only a thin wooden door between the apartments, and we were unable to sleep properly for three nights..

got to hotel and was put in a very bad small room that had a very distinctive smell! we unpacked anyway then was greeted with a cockroach! we immediately went to 2 reception and was called a liar by the receptionist as he thought we was just trying to upgrade to a better room! so we decided to catch the cockroach and place it on his desk! where he decided to kick and let it free! they did exchange our room for a much nicer room! not the cleanest but was better than the first one! on a different floor where we could not really complain but two nights was enough
