The location was great, we were able to walk most places and enjoy being outdoors. The hotel was very clean, quiet and just plain beautiful, the staff was very nice.
Bed was great, loved all the extra pillows, valley staff was awesome, very attentive
Lots of noise in hallway, other guests door closing could be heard and it would shake our door, advertised free wifi but in small print it was only free in public area not in rooms, parking fee way too much, only person on reservation could check in
The price was the same as what we could've gotten by walking in hotel ourselves. No cheaper price?
Great Location, Friendly Staff, Comfortable Beds, Cool Lobby. Great impression for our first trip to Austin.
Shower, not a fan. While the shower head/pressure was awesome, it smelled moldy, wanted to get out as quick as possible. This hotel was perfect for what we needed it for. The decor was cute, and beds were comfortable. I don't know if it was the water, or the pipes or the shower curtain though, but something there needs to be cleaned or updated. Tub and sink didn't drain well. Having said that, the staff was amazing! Overall I would def stay here again
The paper thin walls and horrible beds, they were very uncomfortable!Staff was very friendly and helpful but I would work on the Sound transmission from one room to the other and the beds
Staff was excellent as was the location.
There was a bit of noise in the late hours when guests were returning for the night.
Not a good value. I don't see what makes this hotel cost twice as much (or more when you include parking, internet, etc...all extra) than a comparably located 3 or 3.5 star hotel. Not a good value. I don't see what makes this hotel cost twice as much (or more when you include parking, internet, etc...all extra) than a comparably located 3 or 3.5 star hotel. Just window dressing. For instance, the lobby's 'Starbucks' kiosk is not a full functioning Starbucks (except for the price), and only offers drip coffee which, for the price you're paying, this hotel should make available for free.
The hotel itself was great. Our only complaint is the high cost of parking and food/drinks. Thankfully, you are in the heart of downtown Austin so your dining choices are expansive.
