Located right as you get downtown, it is walking distance to everything. This makes finding parking a nonissue. Yay. The breakfasts were homemade and nice. Quiche, fresh fruit slices, muffins in addition to the usual fare. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable.
The furniture was scuffed and worn which made a poor first impression.
grossly overpriced motel.
The price and location were fabulous
Very good price / quality ratio.
The location was the only good thing.
Poor management clearly doesn't cater to its guests. Unwilling to rectify inconsistencies in billing between myself and our friends (we were charged $110 more for our stay). The management blamed booking.com for the problem and would not discuss it.
The general location of the hotel was good. The breakfast that came included with the room was good too. They could have changed the main dish which was made from eggs and spinach. Exactly the same thing was served all of the three mornings we stayed there.
The dust ruffle on the bed was very dirty or stained. The bathroom was in need of a lot of work and details. The bathtub was two different colors and when you got into it the plastic tub cover had a lot of water trapped under it which was terrible. The walls behind and around the toilet were badly stained and unfinished. Rooms were not very soundproofed. Try oiling the hinges on all of the doors in the complex which you could easily hear from the other units. Someone should walk the individual units to look at what has not been attended to for some time.
We checked in around 9PM, they gave us a isolated room by itself, facing the street, and sidewalk is right in front of room door. The bath room is under remodeling and not finished yet. Two girls stayed in the strange city feeling very uncomfortable. We locked the door and closed curtain whole evening, didn't want to go walk around at all. The front counter told us because it is late check-in, they gave all rooms to other customers. I stayed in Carmel village Inn 4 times in past 10 years. Each time I felt great. But, this night stay really made me scared and very fed up. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone anymore.
This motel has a good location; comfortable rooms and a very good price / quality ratio. The included breakfast is small but good
Very cosy hotel in the most convenient location. I would definitely stay here again.
No bad points.
Walking distance to what we wanted to see or where we wanted to go.
good value for the location; nice staff; good breakfast served with stay
suggestion: the rugs need to be cleaned; they were vaccumed but needed dry cleaning
Good breakfast. I was not expecting so many things!
Availability to access internet (or suggest a place to go - internet cafe or similar).
