The location for the Corning Glass Museum and the Rockwell Western Art Museum was excellent. The room was very nice and well arranged and clean. We would easily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Corning. The Breakfast was great, too.
The thermostat was analog (slide lever) and not very accurate. A digital thermostat is the norm now and it is suggested that this negative should be addressed.
Comfortable room, with great bedding. Pleasant and roomy dining/great room. Pretty outdoor environment.
No luggage racks in room. Elevators inconvenient for guests with front rooms. Could use more staff during busy hoursThis was our first experience with Staybridge and it was mostly positive. Our biggest complaint was that we arrived at 3:40 pm after a long drive looking forward to relaxing in our room. The desk clerk informed us that our room wasn't ready. We asked what time check-in was and she said 3:00 and gave us a look that made us feel guilty for being on time (actually 40 minutes after check-in). She informed us that it would be at least a half hour more. Since the hotel is sort of isolated, we had to get back in the car and drive a mile into town and walk around to kill time. Corning is a charming town and we enjoyed our overall stay there, however, we would have been much happier to have had a chance to freshen up before we did any explo...
The room size was excellent...larger than expected.
Location as very close to museum, but since there is a shuttle, it is not necessary
The hall was noisy into the night. The staff was not particularly helpful. I asked if I could walk to town. they said yes, but didn't tell me about the shuttle. Room was not ready when I arrived at 3 -said it would be a 1/2 hour or moreThe hotel was adequate. I would not stay there again.
Credit Card was charged twice for the same reservation.
Somehow, I was accidentally booked for the Friday instead of the Thursday night, so...when I showed up, they were nice enough to switch it at no cost to me. It is a brisk 5 minute walk to the Glass museum. Pleasant staff. Quiet place. Cosy clean rooms.
No. For the star level I think it did not disappoint.Good place to stay that is not too far from the beaten track. You can walk to the busy areas if you feel like it. Good value for the money.
The staff when we checked in told us they would put a hold on our credit card for'incidents' - not incidentals - in case 'you wreck the room.' That meant $500 held on our card for 8 biz days. I objected. She was rude, left for 10 min,The staff at this hotel was rude and did not know the difference between 'incidents' and 'incidentals' and wanted to place a hold on our credit card for the entire price of the room for each room night we were staying. A uniquely nasty experience.
Perfect set up of two bedrooms, two baths and a common livingroom and small kitchenette. Excellent for two couples to spend a weekend as tourists.Easy to find, almost in the parking lot of the Corning Glass Museum.
Room was spacious and clean. I liked the suite concept with the kitchenette. Nice toiletries and furnishings. Great for an extended stay in warm weather - several grills in grassy hotel courtyard. Right by the Corning Museum of Glass and main st.
