Set in greenery, just 7 kilometres from the heart of Ferrara, the Alla Cedrara farm holiday centre is the outcome of careful and precise conversion work on an old 'casella', the barn of the ancient rural courtyard. The farm holiday centre, its name evoking the flavours and aromas of bygone times - the cedrara was, in fact, a dainty of the Ferrara area - is surrounded by a garden of about 8,000 sq. m., and by an immense park of more than 10,000 sq. m. where, following an environmental recovery policy, various autochthonous species of tree and bush have been planted, outstanding among them various aromatic and medicinal herbs. The interior of the structure is distinguished by its warm, welcoming atmosphere, its strong point being the embracing tonality of the wood, including the open beams and the furniture, the delightful terracotta tiles with their old-world charm, and the huge, old fireplace heating the cosy breakfast room. There are four rooms reserved for guests, all furnished with antique pieces and provided with every convenience: air-conditioning, television, telephone, safe, fridge bar and independently regulated heating.
