The location of the hotel is great, in the heart of a small Icelandic community, but most of all the owners were so welcoming and friendly. They even made sure we saw the Northern Lights, and what a display it was! I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone touring around Iceland or for a longer stay. The surrounding scenary is fantastic, and the Snaefellness area is great for driving, walking and nature-watching.
Nice sized room, hot tub.
Pricey compared to similar hotels in Iceland. Very very noisy as there was a group of young people there at the same time.
Friendly staff, excellent restaurant.
We spent only one night, as we were passing through the area, but it was a very pleasant stay. We arrived just a few minutes before the hotel restaurant was scheduled to close, but they did not hurry us at all, and we had a very pleasant meal. The proprietor was very nice in helping carrying our luggage up the winding staircase to our second-floor room, which was quite generous in size. The room and bath were very clean, and our only complaint was that the shower was a bit tight and didn't have a place to put our toiletries. Breakfast was the typical, but completely adequate, cold continental breakfast. Would stay there again and would definitely recommend.
Cozy, warm helpful staff, fine location on the Snaefellenes peninsula
Very small room
Owners very friendly and helpful. Quiet atmosphere, nicest place in the area.
excellent meals, sauna and hot-tub were a pleasant surprise.
Lovely rooms, friendly atmosphere, great staff and the best food in Iceland!!!
Nice little hotel close to the port. Its more a B&B than an Hotel I think.
Hotel is next to a fish company. It smells pretty much out side and sometimes inside. Its more a B&B and the price is like everywere in Iceland fare to high.
