Close to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes and near the center of the Silver valley of North Idaho. The staff was very friendly. The room was typical of most hotels.
The only things that were negatives was our room location. It was near an entrance door and we could hear that outside door open and close. We had construction workers in rooms near us that left from 3 to 5am every morning and woke us up every time. The facility shows alot of traffic, but is kept up fairly well. The best thing was the staff, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was marginal and the space limited. When there were many people there things got very tight.
It seemed dirty with filthy and ripped carpetingIt was way over priced

No elevator. The kids next door were noisy but finally settled down at a decent hour.
It appears to be the nicest hotel in Wallace, Idaho...which isn't saying much!
The room was very average and it needs a serious update. Overly priced room and I would rate it more a 2 star hotel. The dirty pool needed maintenance, the sauna didn't work and there are no elevators, breakfast, or coffee in the lobby!! Too expensive! If you must stay in Wallace, Idaho this hotel would be your best choice. However, the rooms are overly-priced due to the fact that it is a tourist area for the last town before heading to the Hiawatha Trail. There are no amenities worth mentioning and the hotel needs a serious update!!! Not fun carrying heavy luggage up two flights of stairs because there are no elevators and the empty carafe of coffee on the flimsy cheap TV tray tucked under the stairwell is just tacky and does not say 'Welcome'.

The management was excellent.
The bed was miserable. Too expensive.
No breakfast, no crab and go, there was a smell in the room, the carpet is very dirty. The shower didn't work properly. There was more dust than stars and it is a very, VERY vintage hotel!

Price was about the only positive, proving once again that you get what you pay for.
Place seemed like a dirty, cheap apartment complex. People smoking everywhere, tailgating and drinking beer in the parking lot. Room was stiflingly hot and smelled pretty bad when we got there. Window crank was broken, TV was sliding off of wall mount. Just seemed very trashy. I do not recommend this place.
