Located in the heart of hill country, the Y.O. Ranch Hotel & Conference Center is situated in Kerrville, Texas. San Antonio Airport is just a 45-minute drive. The sprawling hotel covers a ranch property that once covered 600,000 acres of the surrounding landscape. Today, the Old West-inspired hotel offers a unique design with antique furnishings and game trophies alongside modern decor and amenities for all the creature comforts of home. This hotel offers complimentary WiFi throughout the property, as well as free on site parking for guests.

There are 190 guest rooms and suites at the Y.O. Ranch Hotel, each offering a unique southwestern design with rich wood, authentic tile floors, and private patios. Flat-screen TVs come standard, as does a separate seating area and modern baths with upgraded fixtures and deluxe amenities. There are also upgraded suites available that feature wood burning fireplaces, as well as a number of family rooms that offer wooden “fort” bunk beds.

Pros (+) Food was good... Never before have I thought, "This salad has too much bacon..." Pool with swim up bar is nice. When we needed towels, roll out bed, etc. service was prompt.
Cons (-) Our room service dishes sat outside our room about 24 hours before they were picked up. Gross! Tub drained slow & bathroom needs updating. No washer/dryer. Room was too warm and a/c wouldn't get cold enough.

Pros (+) Location was close to the Texas Lions Camp. We needed a place close to this location to pick up my daughter from camp and to stay before our drive back home in the morning.
Cons (-) The place is TIRED AND OLD. The smell of MOLD AND MILDEW in the room was unacceptable. The room SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN RENTED OUT IN THE CONDITION IT WAS IN. Upon checking in (around 5pm Friday night), we noticed a terrible odor in the room. We only dropped our bags off, so we did not realize how bad it was.
