Pre- and post-travel are when we need pampering the most, which is why a stay at the five-star Sofitel London Heathrow Hotel is ideal for those on the go. Sweet dreams are practically guaranteed in one of the hotel's 605 guestrooms, which feature Sofitel's signature plush MyBeds and sound-proof windows. For an extra-peaceful stay, request one of the rooms with a view of the hotel's Zen Garden.
5-Star Airport Accommodations
With 45 meeting rooms, a business center, and free Wifi, the Sofitel London Heathrow is a smart choice for business travelers. Additional on-site facilities include two bars, two restaurants, a cafe, currency exchange, a hair salon, a tour desk, and luggage storage. Perfect for jet-lagged guests, in-room dining is available 24 hours a day, and the hotel's state-of-the-art fitness center and health spa never close.
Perfect for Early Morning Departures
Why take a taxi from your hotel to the airport when you could walk? Perfect for early morning departures or long layovers, the Sofitel London Heathrow is the only airport hotel that is linked to the airport's Terminal 5 by a covered walkway. Getting to any of the other terminals in time for a flight is almost as convenient, thanks to the nearby Heathrow Express/Connect rail connection. For trips into the city itself, central London is only 20 minutes away by train.
Convenient to T5. Free train ride to T2, T3 and T4. No airplane noise.
Loud conversations in hallway at 2 am from drunk noisy guests leaving a Christmas party. I had to call security. No fault of the hotel really, just inconsiderate guests
$350 to be at the airport is a bit pricey
Kinda of a Maze
There was a loud noisy party, clearly audible in the rooms, which went on for 2 hours or so. Not what one would expect in a Sofitel Hotel--nor what one should tolertate
The hotel is a clean, modern, well appointed property. My only complaint is room service was frightfully over priced. Otherwise, this was perfect for my needs.
the fact they charge for WiFi after I checked out without even mentioning it to me at check in time.
Comfortable bed. Great breakfast buffet. Great staff.
As a Le Club Accor member I have stayed at numerous Sofitel's across the world. The staff at Heathrow Sofitel were uninformed for a airport hotel and the service was substandard. Although the bed was very comfortable the room lights randomly turned on in the middle of the night, in both rooms waking us. The tv's did not work due to flat batteries in the remotes and the expected niceties for this brand of hotel and at this cost such as a bottle of water didn't exist. Overall the location was convenient but I'm not sure we would stay again. Regards Brenda partridge
for the second consecutive time my reservation had been mishandled
Internet connection is very slow
The proximity to Heathrow Terminal 5 was excellent and it was very easy to find when exiting baggage claim. Comfortable bed.
Room had no amenities that are necessary for turnover travellers such as a mini-bar for easy refreshments and iron and ironing board. Those are really two items that I need at my fingertips when I'm doing a quick layover with late arrival and early departure. Really poor for a hotel that claims 5 stars. They should understand the needs of their guests. Some of the new and innovative airport hotels could definitely challenge the Sofitel.
The location is superb for a layover in London especially arriving and departing from terminal 5
Convenience of direct access from LHR T5 and the overall ambiance of the hotel
Everything was good.
If it wasn't connected to terminal 5, it would have gone bankrupt .
Expensive , rude staff. Slow internet and very bad service.
It was located next to the terminal 5. If you have a early flight, or in case there is any sudden change of your flight schedule, this hotel would be a best choice. Additionally, the breakfast is quite impressive if ever you have a time to eat in their "buffet-style" restaurant before you leave.
The staff was very rude, especially when they are pointed out that they made a mistake in billing by over-charging their guest. Instead of apology, I was just given a rude / unprofessional gesture and comments as if they did not do anything wrong.
