I was deceived by the location of hotel. Neighborhood is depressed and appears to be unsafe.
The inside was nice- breakfast area, lounging area were all nice. Rooms were ample sized. Inside of rooms was quiet.
There was only one elevator and it was slow. The vending machines/ and such on each floor were kindof unattractive. The area itself was not great, but felt safe from the outside and not something the hotel can control.
Everything was great
Clean, consistent holiday Inn express experience
The area the hotel is in is in a seethy part of Los Angeles not a place you would want to walk around in at night
The Holiday Inn Express had free continental breakfast. The breakfast was fresh, tasted great , and a variety of options.
The location was aweful. very dirty on the streets! homeless people everywhere, very rundown area and very unsafe to walk around outside. I was actually surprised the next morning that my car did not get broken into.
Neat and tidy hotel, counter staff helpful, very good connectivity to the Metro, good breakfast
The hotel is not in a nice area
Staff is great Nice spacious room Free shuttle bus to and from city center Overall a great experience
Only downside is that the rooms are extemely noisy. You can hear every conversation in the room next to you. Next to that the floor is also making a lot of cracking noises, so bring earplugs.
Excellent location, one block from McArthur Park. Maybe not the prettiest part of LA but extremely handy to many key locations and really hard to beat for the price. excellent mini-suite with separate sitting area.
Nice and clean. Just what I needed for this trip.
The renovation and staff
Our tub was broken our first night and day
The staff was really helpful. We wanted to figure out how to get somewhere and the front desk clerk was super helpful in providing us with options, important information, and honest insight.
The location is in a shady kind of area. The hotel is the only nice part of that area and it seemed like the safest part too.
It was very clean with a great staff.
The hotel is located in a bad area.
Distance from attractions, Room Neatness and Comfort, Good Staff conduct
Breakfast catering to all types of people, Lack of importance given to the customer's request
The room was great. What you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Clean and up to date.
The wifi internet never worked in my room which was a huge hassle as I had planned to get some work done in the room before I left in the morning. Every time I called the front desk they just kept immediately telling me the wifi password.
It was very clean.
My rooms window wouldn't open.
The rooms were very clean, the staff friendly and location convenient to all the places we wanted to visit.
helpful staff only, Martin is a great staff
no hot water for 4hr
The hotel itself was really nice. The room was nice, clean, and big.
I didn't think the hotel staff was that friendly. I had to sign up for a membership just to check out late because our flight left at 6:30 and they wouldn't let us stay for 2 extra hours.
The room was adequate. Located in a reasonably good part of town. Honestly there's nothing to say about this other than it was a place to sleep. The provided soap smelled odd. Shower pressure was good. Internet was non-exisistant other than wi-fi (marginal.) Would I stay here again? Not if I were able to book a better place, ugh.
This hotel was very disappointing: the room was not clean (the carpet had stains and the chairs had burns on the cushions). The iron is chained to the ironing board! The door needed WD-40 as it creaked loudly and was ''notchy'' to close. This is a ''Limited'' location so there is no on site restaurant. And the take out or delivery options are limited (although there was a decent Thai restaurant that delivered). Overall it had a run-down feel to it both on the inside and the outside of the property. And the lobby is very small (looks more like a ''hot sheet'' hotel than a place to bring the family). The location is not a particularly good one in that it is in a borderline run down area. Security didn't appear to be tight enough: there are a lot of areas where that did not appear to have any significant coverage. However, if you are heading downtown and are driving, the location convenient. Parking is free which is a plus. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful - this was the best feature of the location. One staff member in particular went the extra mile to assist me with a question and she appeared genuinely concerned about my issue. It was very refreshing as that often is not the norm even in better quality hotels. Overall I would not recommend this location unless you are on a budget or it there are no other alternatives.
Customer service was not as friendly as they shouldhave been, also the room service was'nt good at all. I don't understand why travel website would have such Hotel on their menu of hotels. This was a nasty taste in my mouth my vacation was sour because of this and when calling travel website I got transfer from one person to another, I desire a refund or another Hoteland couldn't recieve that.
I was really looking for a room somewhere close to Beverly Hills without breaking my bank and I found this one. This hotel is on one end of Wilshire Blvd, but Wilshire surely is a long road and people who live along this road can be extremely different. When I was about to arrive, I thought I drove into Mexico City. I arrived at 4pm and I was told the room was not ready and I was asked to wait in the lobby. When I got my keys and was told the room was ready, the maid was still actually working on cleaning up my room. The room was really 'just ok'. I never stayed in a hotel with such old furnitures before, and the condition of the room and bathroom in general is mediocre at best. The travel website states that it has wireless internet, but I couldn't get to anywhere after I got my IP (not even a welcome screen that asks you for your credit card number). I found the captive portal page but none of the buttons on the screen linked to anywhere. After I came back from dinner, the corridor outside my room was filled with litter and garbage. It was a rather scary experience staying in this hotel. I will not go back again.
I HAD THE GREATEST TIME OF MY LIFE. THE FRONT DESK WERE SO HELPFUL AND POLITE. MY ROOM WAS ALWAYS CLEAN ON TIME .BREAKFAST ROOM VERY NICE AND CLEAN I REALLY RECOMEND THIS HOTEL OVERSEAS CUSTOMER.
Our room smells, curtains is dirty, the bedsheet was full of cigarette holes with a slight red stain that looks like blood.. Worst was I brought in a couple of friends there room is in the same condition with an added bonus the bathroom smells that old urine odor there were also little hairs in the shower and on the floor. That's my last stay with Ramada.that one I just walk out of the hotel. This one I can't I was too tired.....
