Parking right next door and very affordable. Front desk staff asked me my floor preference.
The elevator was a bit noisy and dated
Good Hotel for the money
Location was great and the staff was very friendly.
Very nice place and location
Good service. Bar service excellent.
It was nice enough and most of the interactions with the staff were good.
The room was not a good value for the price. I looked at a lot of other hotels and chose this one because it seemed the nicest and best value; that wasn't the case. I could have paid less to stay somewhere with similar accommodations.
I liked the location, right near the water, and Fourth Street entertainment. The staff was polite and kind, the view was great from the 10th floor. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was clean, with good water pressure.
The lack of fridge in the room. The shower has grab bars, and there ware visible rust stains from the water over the years. I feel like that could be cleaner, but not really a big deal.
Was in a very good location for the surrounding events.
Nice room good location
The air conditioner didn't work and it lacked in plugs.
The staff gave us maps of the city and highlighted the go-tos. Very helpful. And I loved the location. 4th street was directly to the left.
I have a $50 charge on my card that is unexplained.
Leaving - I wish we could have stayed another night.
Great location; greatly assessable to entertainment.
Detached from managing, supervising, and other hotel staff.
Great location. Generously sized, clean room.
No electrical outlets available on the night table between the beds. I need two. With guests who have mobiles and other outlet needs, even better hotels have fallen behind and ignore easy solutions.
How close it was to everything
room size and set up
Great location downtown, unless you are in a room with only a view of other buildings...
Not a four-star hotel by any stretch in my opinion. I paid $--- for the room, $30 for breakfast and $10 to park for the night. The room was nice enough, but remnants of the 'older' features of the hotel are very evident; i.e., old tile shower, etc.
The lobby was great.
waited for too long for Valet parking. Dirty wash cloth left in room. Chair in room, too dirty to sit on. Room service brought wrong item. View from room was terrible.
I really loved the convenience of being right downtown on fourth street.
The rooms were a little small. It was a very old design.
Definitely Not 4 star quality. Rooms were more aligned with 2.5 to 3 star quality. Bar food and drinks were great. No hot tub at a 3 star is very unusual, at a '4' star unacceptable. No shower cap nor lotion or typical amenities you would see in a 3 star.
I just stated it above so you'll have to separate this out, I did like the friendly workers but the Hotel is badly in need of renovations to be 4 star. This is false advertising I would not stay here again, and strongly suggest you correct the rating to 3
The room and bedding was nice. The location is ideal if you are exploring downtown Louisville.
This hotel is extremely loud on a Saturday night. There were several bachelorette parties and a wedding staying and there were loud voices, someone knocked on our door in the middle of our night. The open center design and thin walls = no sleep.
location in downtown louisville
we were charged $2 more for parking than the posted price. TV in the room did not work and had to call the desk twice to get someone to the room.
Location. Also, the check-in host from South America was lovely & accommodating
The bedsheets had blood spots on them, and the tub did not drain properly. We had to stand in ankle deep dirty water while showering!
Big brother cooler checks, age of building, noise level but it was a busy weekend. Too many screaming kids and stupid parents glued to their phones.
The hotel's location is perfect. However, the room looked dated, not bad, but dated.
I did not like having to pay for parking (I did not like that it was not mentioned in their description of the hotel.
The hotel was at a great location.
The interior was outdated, the walls of the rooms are small.
Good location, although virtually every hotel in downtown is in a reasonably good location. Louisville has a small downtown area. We were in a smoking room, and the air filtration system was incredible; the system absorbed virtually all of the smoke.
1) Generic hotel room. No in-rooms afe, minibar or fridge. 2) VERY slow internet service. They need to increase the bandwidth significantly. 3) Only 3 elevators for the entire high-rise. 10 minute wait for one to check out.
It's location to events in the Louisville downtown area. The room was big.
First of all,had to wait two hours before our room was ready. Cleanliness of the room. Condition of the room, needed repairs. The furniture was rundown. Bathroom was small and dated.
It was downtown.
Room. Very ordinary. Not 5*. No amenities I wanted. Parking a pain. Not worth the price. I will not return.
The staff was very pleasant. I enjoyed the decor in the lobby.
The rooms had average decor. There was nothing spectacular or impressive about the pool area. The most attractive part was the lobby. The youngest offered complimentary coffee for a couple of hours. That was mediocre as generosity goes.
location - downtown, close to slugger field
it is made with an open lobby and very busy so that you could hear people late at night and early in the morning, double beds, no free wi or frig or microwave and a sign that says no coolers
