Staff and general manager focused on providing true service.
Beds and typical chemical 'hotel' smell in room.
TV channel charge for any decent channel in addition to room rates. Light bulbs burned out. Shower stuck on 'clean an elephant' pressure due to shower head problem. I was disappointed.
Very friendly staff. Room was very comfortable & well stocked :)
The hot breakfast in the morning was very good.
The rooms were extremely humid (the sheets and carpet felt damp), and the A/C units were very loud.
the staff was very cooperative. the breakfast was nice also!!
When I entered the lobby, you could tell this was a well maintained and clean property. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Great night's sleep and breakfast. Thanks
Although the hotel brand has been extremely good in other states and their price competitive in rooms compared with similar establishments this specific hotel facility needs a good Management change their pattern of cleaning and enhance the quality of stay. Sadly, since the room was not 'clean' I did not even venture for coffee in their breakfast area, which also did not seem maintained properly. A nearby McDonalds or the Cracker Barrel were better choices.
room offered was not as I bought but was changed very quickly and nicely. Good value and clean, nice people
Madison is such a lovely and friendly place to visit - this hotel certainly lives up to that reputation. The staff from the manager to the cleaning personel are cordial and are willing to help out when needed and answer questions about where to eat, what to do, etc...This is a good location as well for visting the town, going to the Blacksmithing conference or finding a place to eat.
