Too crowded, no chairs available at pool, had to stand in line and wait for 45 minutes for chairs on beach, waited 2 hours for lunch to be delivered on beach, everything is way overpriced!
A fancy luxurious hotel with lots of style. It definitely seemed like 'the place to be'. The bar in the hotel lobby was happening, and Liv is the party club. Nice restaurants located within the hotel as well.
The building is beginning to show it's age. It's not something most people will notice. It's especially noticeable while sitting on the balcony, looking at the exterior of the building

The hotel and beach are both beautiful. There are many choices of on-site restaurants and eateries. Our junior suite had a spectacular balcony/view.
Many of the staff that are in customer relations (i.e. The front desk) are abrupt, clearly uneducated and make a very poor first impression. The hotel was a mob-scene to the point where my husband and I couldn't find a spot in either the pools or hot tubs. Everytime my husband and I walked anywhere we were stopped several times by random hotel employees and asked to produce our room key (which is particularly odd seeing that the pool restaurant is open to the public and the beach is public). It was invasive and awkward. The spa didn't stock wash cloths, razors or cotton balls, and the spa was not picked up and refreshed regularly, leaving unkempt beds/showers as well as used towels lying around. Many other guests were low class, scantily clad, smokers. It felt like a Las Vegas hotel without the shows or the casinos...cost to park the car is $41 per day!
Best hotel in Miami Beach. Great restaurants, service, amenities but best by far is the pool. Will not stay in any other hotel.
I loved the room size, the huge bathroom, comfortable beds, the deck with ocean view and the pool....
the fact that you pay $22 for the "free computer," internet, pool and boarding pass print out... All these things are free at every other hotel...
I loved how accommodating the staff was, we wanted a pool and beach view and double beds, but it was unavailable at the time of our visit, they took our cell phone down and the next day moved us to one of the best rooms available at the hotel. We were so happy that they kept their word and remembered our specific request. The pool is amazing, there is direct beach access. Most of all the amenities are already included in your room fee. There are tons of great restaurants inside the hotel.
This is not in the middle of Collins ave like most other hotels are, but the Uber ride to middle of Collins and Ocean Drive was less than $10 dollars.
The staff is always helpful and friendly. Angel at the front desk is fantastic!
Housekeeping was a little pushy to clean the room even while we were there.
Upon check in I had a problem with my reservation. The rooms I reserved were not available until I made a major complaint. Then I was given rooms on the 4th floor on top of the roof with poor views of beach. And the service was poor but I guess its because it was a busy holiday weekend.

There is not much to dislike.. The drinks were pretty high and not that good.
I liked the beds. They were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet in one of their dinning areas was great.
The pool service and the beach service was very very slow. They kept running out of towels on the beach. The service on the beach for food/drinks took way too long. The first room I checked in was dirty And the balcony door was broken and the bathroom door toilet holder and soap holder in the shower was broken. The carpet was stained and the room stunk. I called to report it and it took forever. I kept calling and waited for 3 hours for someone to come to the room and for me to switch rooms. Then the other room safe was had to be reset and the radio iPod dock was not working. Had to report it. The balconies did not have a light outside which was very dark. And the balconies were so close together. A lot of the food and drinks in the hotel was over priced. It took more than a day to speak to a manager. I went to the dinner at the steak place and the service was slow and waitress was rude. In addition, 50 cents was to be at the pool party on Saturday there and he didn't show up.

Everything was absolutely amazing! We were upgraded to a suite with a balcony and beautiful view as a courtesy for waiting on the room to be ready! All employees were very nice and accommodating
The people staying at the hotel were loud and obnoxious: the hotel us really gone downhill in the last couple years. It used to be fantastic to stay at. The service was horrible and staff were rude. Good was overpriced. They served me a drink that had a piece of moldy fruit on it. Some staff spoke very little English and it was difficult to communicate with them. On the final day, I was rudely awakened by housekeeping banging on the door demanding to know what time we would be leaving...this was hours before checkout time.
I liked the comfort, the view from my room, the location, and the other guests were friendly.
I didn't like the fact that I had to pay for almost everything in addition to the daily hotel fee of $21+. If I wanted to relax by the pool/beach on a lounge chair or day bed, I'd have cough up $200 - I thought I had access to all of this after paying the daily hotel fee. I didn't like the fact that I had no microwave in my room - I wouldn't have mind if one was available per floor.
Fontainebleau is a legendary hotel.. Worth the stay if you've never been there before.
Staff is rude. Check-out at 11am and in at 4pm, really? They handle too many guests and dont have enough facilities. Everything includes an 18% service charge not worth the service quality, plus staff asks for extra tips. There's a resort fee, which includes nothing but wi-fi.

Everything including beach umbrellas is additional. Out to nickel and dime customers for everything. Food insanely expensive - on par with St.regis and ritz but half the service. Poor hotel given the service and quality - would rather stay at a ritz or JW or Setai

The location and the pool
Call for my car and it took them about 1:30 hr to bring it and I miss my Mother's Day dinner and it was about 20 min or more the other days room service also took about an 1:30 hr when I got to the hotel i Waite about 30 min. For a bell person to take my bags
Great looking complex, beautiful architecture.
Late check in - 3:45 pm Early check out- staff started banging the door at 9am, opened the door and walked into the bedroom although the "sleepy"/do not disturbe sign was on the outside of the door knob. No toothbrush/toothpaste in the bathroom. Master bedroom had a moist scent. Shower head and bathroom faucets were oxydized, looked like they werent cleaned in a long time. Felt under pressure to check out every hour.
