located in a quiet village on the outskirts of nerja.very peaceful.nice alternative to the hustle and bustle of nerja which is a lively holiday resort.
- The location near the beach/caves of Nerja/the small center of Maro - Swimming pool - Easy to find from the a7
The hotel had a good little cafe and was near the essential shops. The staff were accomodating when we arrived a brought us a cold beer each despite it being late at night! There were also hardly any tourists.
The pool was by no stretch of the imagination what it showed on the website. It was small and the water came up to waist height. Also there was a rather unpleasant smell of drains on the roof so we could not sunbathe up there. The beach was also quite a long walk away down steep roads so we had to get a taxi back and also there was no cafe by the beach to get cold drinks or loan a sun shade. There was no nightlife to speak of whatsoever and was definitely a taxi ride to Nerja to have a meal out.
The staff were very friendly and it was in a quiet location. Not alot to do in surrounding area but that is what we wanted. The swimming pool ideal for children.
The food was not very good (we payed half board). We did not have any warm water in our room for entire stay.
comfort staff cleanliness location
