The hotel’s 410 stylish, comfortable guest rooms and suites allow inspiring perspectives on downtown and the Mississippi River. These stimulating retreats include unique contemporary designs inspired by the destination, oversized work desks, beds with pillow-top mattresses, and Le Méridien bath amenities.
This trip was my first time to the south, and the staff at Le Meridien were very polite and professional. Everywhere from the bell hop during the day, to the bartender at night, to the front desk reception. The in-room service was excellent, the food and wine hit the spot. The location was a bit farther from the convention center then I anticipated but it was nice to have a little stroll to and from the conference to the hotel. I really like the decor at Le Meridien. The pool and gym were fantastic!
I did not like how expensive the in-room service fee is. I was charged $4 fee plus another $10 fee, both labeled as in-room service fee's to order dinner up to my room.
The location was perfect for us. Not too much congestion, but close enough to walk to the French Quarter and other shops. I also like the decor of the hotel and the beds are very comfortable.
No fault of the hotel, but at wee hours in the morning, our drunk neighbors were very very loud in the halls and in their rooms. More sound proofing would be greatly appreciated.
decore style, great location- most things in walking distance, safe, good value.
No exhaust fans in bathroom, pool is deceiving from pics, much smaller in person.
Contemporary look, friendly staff, comfort
Lack of food options and different times of the day
I liked how clean and modern it was.
It was very expensive for what we got. The only parking they had was valet and it was 47$ a night. After paying 415 for the room seems really steep. We were also really crunched for time Sunday am and had to wait about 20 minutes to get our car which was frustrating. When they tell you to call ten minutes ahead to have your car ready for you.
Very classy and great location. Staff was helpful and friendly. Bed was super comfortable!
I was extremely disappointed in my stay at the W. I will never stay at another W again. It was not worth the 200 I paid per night.
Location was superb, room were clean, and staff were excellent.
Pillows were a bit hard to make comfortable.
friendly, Luxe, design
One of the best staff and facilites I have ever stayed at. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I was blown away by the service.
If I had to pick something, I didn't like the pillows. Too hard, but that's just me.
The beds were Awesome! Very comfortable.
Wet spot on the floor of the room. Bathtub a little dated.
The staff did not apply a 4* hotel service. Several of the nice appliances provided in the room did not work (iPod speakers, radio/alarm clock) and electricity sockets in the bathroom were ,alfunctioning and therefore dangerous to use. Worst of all, we were charges for several services/items we did not use: valet parking, mini bar and a large phone bill came out of nowhere.
