Several airport amenities are available to accommodate passengers with long layovers, which make the flying experience more enjoyable. Business Services and Conference Rooms are located in the ticket lobby and open daily from 6:00 A.M to 5 P.M. All payphones include data ports, which allow for easy Internet access, and banking services are available throughout the terminal.
The check-in and security screening process is relatively quick. However, if traveling to New Orleans during Mardi Gras, passengers are urged to arrive at the airport at least two hours before the scheduled departure.

Take I-310 and exit at Airline Highway. Turn right onto Airline Drive and follow signs to airport parking.

New Orleans International Airport has one main terminal and four concourses. The ticket lobby of the Main Terminal contains ATM's, business services, baggage claim, medical services, U.S. Post Office, car rental, ground transportation, check-in, and security checkpoints. Concourses are located on the upper levels. Concourse A serves Northwest Airlines and U.S. Airways and contains gates A1 - A8. Concourse B serves Southwest Airlines and contains gates B1 - B11. Concourse C serves American Airlines, United Airlines, Jet Blue, and Airtran, and contains gates C1 - C16. Concourse D serves Continental Airlines and Delta and contains gates D1 - D8
