This hotel is really in need of a major rehab.
The pool had scum floating in it.
Everything was awesome, from check-in to check -out! The hotel was built in early 50's, but was updated while still maintaining the mad men classy feel. Everyone in our party loved the hotel. The views were spectacular at day and at night. Cannot express enough how wonderful this place is!
Service was fast and attentive, even at the restaurant and even on a sold out weekend. And they didn't nickel-and-dime us for every little thing, such as the toothbrushes we forgot and the room towels we accidentally left at the pool. Not sure why people complain about the expensive parking because there is a free self-park lot only 100 feet away with plenty of spots.
Our reserved room with two queen beds was unavailable upon arrival. The other room offered had one huge bed, but the other person was on a couch made into a queen. The suite was very posh, the Presidential Suite, with two rooms and a shower ten feet square!
The service in the hotel restaurants was horrible. But it is a clean hotel. Not really worth the price.
Nightly parking fee on top of room rate, excessive charge
The grounds, pool area, hallways and the rooms were very clean and well maintained. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. There was also plenty to do within walking distance of the hotel.
The room was clean and the furniture was updated. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
The parking was terrible, plus they charge a daily fee of $18 which I was not aware of. The pool area was great and it was clean but the pool itself had tons of dead bugs and the water was so dirty and cloudy which was a really a shame because it was almost 110 degrees outside!
No regfrigerator in the room, but they would be happy to rent one to you for $15/day..
Everything. The cleanliness, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, the sofa, and just the overall atmosphere.
