The concierge, Lynne, made our stay special! She is super friendly, accommodating and thoughtful. The hotel has everything you need! Pool and oustside activities were very resort-like, and the bar/restaurant on site was perfect for a happy hour start to our night out! Our next stay we plan on using their gym and cruisers to explore PS. Also loved the Buz Bus stop right outside front door. Had a great stay and will be back!
Great simple easy looks fantastic!
Great facial and good pool scene. The room service was yummy and super fast.
The elevator broke the day we got there. Things in certain areas looked run down.
HUGE rooms. HUUUUGE. I was amazed at the size. Didn't really matter that we were on the street side with no view, rooms were comfortable, beds were nice, and the AC (most important) was functional. Nice and helpful front desk staff. And the colorful decor is truly adorable and very picturesque.
Pool area was much more Vegas-y than I had anticipated. (If I had read the other reviews, I probably would've been less surprised.) Was hoping for a more chill, read by the pool, sip a cocktail kind of weekend, but it was a legit party and pool was kinda cloudy/yucky from so many people.
Very trendy place. I enjoyed the ambiance and the pool party. It's a great place for a younger crowd.
Nice trendy hotel. Younger crowd at the pool. Restaurant is kind of pricey for the portions they give you. Rooms were clean, I love the decor.
Water bottles in the room were 5 dollars each.
I loved the fact that you could see the pool from your room, so even if you wanted to be inside, you could open your door and still be part of the party. The staff was prompt and friendly.
Location, pool, and the vibe of this place is great!
The $35 fee for late check out is a complete rip off. There should be an hour grace period at least.
The room, the pool, the decor, and the comfort and amenities were all great.
I didn't expect it to be so family friendly. I thought it'd be more gay friendly and young. But, it was a good stay.
the pool and the DJ were great. the bed was incredibly comfortable. the balcony overlooking the pool was a good plus
It was probably a little more expensive than it was worth. the front desk was really rude on my way in which was weird. the bright colors felt a little like it was trying to overcompensate that it was still a pretty cheep remodel. The cleaning service entered my room each day at 9am before realizing i was still in there sleeping - like actually walked in before i had time to even say dont come in. The fire alarm went off in the morning for about 30 minutes, not really their fault but still annoying.
We arrived early on the day we were scheduled to check in and we were welcomed even though our room wasn't ready for hours. They held our luggage while we borrowed their bikes to ride into town and get lunch. After, we sipped on cocktails at the pool. When we checked in later in the afternoon we took a nap on the most comfortable bed! The room was cute and clean and totally quiet when the door was closed even though there was a fun active vibe and pumping music at the pool below. We had a great time and can't wait to return!
The hotel is decorated impeccably and has a cool vibe but what it offers in visual appeal, it lacks in service. My room had a broken heater (on a very cold night), broken lamp and broken coffee maker. I told the front desk about the heater and they fixed it. i should have complained about the coffee because when I went to the hotel bar, they charged me $4.50 for a to go cup. Should have gone to Stabucks for that price and got a latte.
Things are broken and not kept up. Bar and food service in El Jefe was so slow. They couldn't figure out how to get the football game on for us so we ended up leaving to go to the Ace. What bar doesn't know how to get football on their TV?!
the rooms were only surface renovated. They just painted over the old wallpaper that was coming off the walls…WAY too expensive for what it is.
It was very clean, everyone was friendly. The place was good for the price. Not luxurious but not crappy either.
