To experience the true luxury of Paris you simply need to take a stroll around the streets surrounding Castille Paris, a luxury hotel situated alongside the famous Maison Chanel in the heart of the 1st Arrondissement, a part of the city renowned for its designer boutiques.
The Castille Paris offers five star luxury and the beauty of its classical 18th century exterior is matched by the chic minimalist design of its interior. As befitting a hotel of this stature, the French-Italian fusion cuisine on offer at its restaurant, L'Assaggio, is mouthwateringly good and can be enjoyed al fresco in the hotel's Florentine style courtyard. The hotel offers 24-hour room service, a first floor fitness center and free WiFi access in public areas as well as 3 corporate meeting rooms and a concierge service.
Surrounded by history
The hotel is just a short walk from the opulent Place Vendome, which dates back to 1702, and is less than a 10-minute walk from the Place de la Concorde where Marie Antoinette was executed. To escape the noise of the city, you can take a relaxing stroll around the Tuileries Gardens all the way to the Louvre and the cities many other attractions such as the Père Lachaise Cemetery, the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées are all easily reached by the extensive Parisian Metro system.
The hotel is located in the most central part of Paris, walking distance to all major touris attractions. The staff is very polite and welcoming very helpful as well. The room and common area design to perfection. The food in the Resturant is to die for. Very nice hotel worth every penny.
You can't get food after 12pm even though the menu says 24/7
the staff, the room, the ease of the staff and the location
location decor friendly
It had plumbing issues. i.e.. oder . Cleaning staff was noisy in the mornings. Staff needs training. This is not a five star Hotel.
Great location, personal service
Atention of the staff is excellent.
The hotel shows pictures on the Internet rooms that have been renovated and hence modern and luxurious; however, the room we stayed has not been renovated at all and furniture, carpet and design were old.
missed more equipment in bathroom
The room was quite small but fine for me. I cant really imagine sharing it with anyone - I had filled the small closet and two shelves for clothing. The people at the hotel were nice.
The toilet was a separate room and was very small. Too small for my liking.
the location and the design of the hall
the rooms are quite small and the rooms on the court which are very calm have the view on a part which has to be still restored
breakfast was great
we missed our flight because the front desk/concierge team could not arrange the taxi to arrive on time (even though we were assured the night before that we would have plenty of time and that their taxi partners always came early or on time, never late).
The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room was pleasant with a fine view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance.
The restaurant menu was very expensive but this is to be expected in the middle of Paris. We didn't eat in!
The location is absolutely superb.
Towards the end of our stay the service deteriorated, e.g. room was only serviced late in the afternoon on 2 days
The hotel and staff were excellent.
Only issue was an unpleasant odour in room 602 in which we stayed which we reported to the reception.
The table in the room was defect. I have in booking ordered a room with two beds, but got a room without. I reclaimed and were moved to another room.
the location of the hotel, the quietness of the rooms
