The charm of this family-owned and family-run, intimate hotel stems from the very small on-site team and the sense that you have entered a private world that is very closely linked to the upscale residential neighbourhood that surrounds it. Built around 1900, the hotel retains such original touches as the black-and-white, checkerboard-patterned floor tiles from the 1930s. Bedrooms are decorated in tones of off-white and dark Bordeaux, with vaguely French Empire themes, and scattered with some angular furniture from the 1960s and 1970s. The hotel lies on a tranquil street in the heart of the so-called Triangle: Eiffel, Invalides, and Champs-Elysees. Children age 2 and under stay free in the room with parents and in existing bedding. Children over this age will be considered an adult.
