The pool was small but nice with a beautiful view of the harbour
I arrived at 8.30 am, flying from Curitiba. The staff member behind reception, pointed to my booking form, where it said that I could check in at 12.00. I told him I understood that, but was it possible to check in earlier, as I need to shower and get to a business meeting by 10pm. He said I could have a room if I paid an extra night. I argued, and he was very unsympathetic to my needs. There was no manager on duty to help. Finally on principle I said I would cancel and check into another hotel. Two other staff behind reception told him to go ahead and book me in. So he did, but with mo apology or smile.. he had absolutely no sense of customer service whatsoever. On another note, the area around hotel is quite dangerous....
