Front desk staff was lacking skills, not very friendly or competent.
Location Staff too
I liked the modern decor. Room was clean and the bed was SO comfortae I'll be calling to see what type of mattress and pillows they use!
The front desk clerk didn't offer to help us make a reservation to eat somewhere offer advise in where to go before waterfire (the rep next to her was doing that for her guests also checking in).
Staff was great about giving us 3 rooms together on same floor
Sadly the hotel doesn't have control over very inconsiderate guests. At 3:45 am a whole group arrived and were talking in full voice in the hall ways. Banging doors and loud conversation in their rooms for about 1 hour!
Parking charge $20 per night. No free morning breakfast.
Toiletries were missing in bathroom. Hotel was charging 26 dollars for peaking which was less than 20 dollars if we parked ourself at same garage
Good location, good facilities..
Staff members were extremely helpful & polite
Parking is not free
I REALLY LIKE THE STAFFA ROOM IS A ROOM THE PEOPLEMAKE THE EXPERIENCE.
Clean, good location, pleasant staff
Room was unremarkable
Location is great. Have stayed here many times an loved out but since remodel allot had changed.
Bed was like laying on concrete. Reserved 2 adjoining rooms and was told each had pullout sofa but one did not. Sent up cot and it was so very uncomfortable. Tied up twice as much $ on my card than were suppose to. 3 days later and pendingstill pending in
location was ideal....right by providence place...right by colleges
entrances and exits not well marked....walked around the building twice before finding front door....
Very friendly staff, very clean.
Multiple people complaining about broken A/Cs during a large summer event in the city. Windows are locked in all rooms. Stale air.
Parking is $26 per night. Ouch. So much for saving money.
Definitely not a 3 star hotel. Its a 2 star hotel with a nice location and pretty furniture. Staff was not helpful and rude. Not family friendly at all.
Hotel Rooms were great, beautiful large window and fabulous beds! Loved the modern look of the hotel. Was close to everything!
Only thing was they don't offer room service :( Also $20 bucks to park.
We had to pay $30 dollars for parking that's ridiculous
expensive continental breakfast was very minimal and parking is $26 for in and out and $20 per day
location, location, location
Parking was to be free according to booking info. It actually cost $20 per night.
The check-in staff member, Sam, was extremely friendly, courteous, and professional. He provided a very warm welcome to my stay at the hotel.
Most Marriott Courtyards share one major design flaw. I cannot understand why the televisions are placed so that they cannot be viewed comfortably from the bed. It's a mystery. Every time I try to watch TV at a Courtyard hotel I wake up with a sore neck.
The staff was friendly
Considering the amount I payed for the room, there should have at least offered a complimentary breakfast. In addition,my room was supposedly a non smoking room but for some reason, the entire hallway smelled like cigarettes
The hotel was clean and the staff was great.
When we arrived everything was great. After 11:00pm the amount of noise outside and from the other rooms was so bad we had to drive home. Drag racing and shouting outside and parties in the rooms at 3am kept us up all night. Will not be visiting again.
I was very pleased when we arrived at the hotel for my husbands 1/2 marathon. It was so centrally located to the entire event it was perfect. It was also a water fire night and we were pleasantly surprised to find our room overlooked the water fire event. Great restaurants nearby. The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
Forget the shuttle service to and from the airport. It was canceled for me because of a large convention staying at hotel. Be prepared to pay a $* plus r/t cab fare. The hotel is obviously catering to business travelers. Also, there is no concierge to help you. Plan to go to sleep early because the tv offers very limited viewing.
Beautiful hotel with a great location and clean comfortable rooms! Unfortunately there were hidden costs associated with my stay - parking ($*night ON hotel grounds) and breakfast was not included. Write-up made it seem as if it was included for hotel guests.
Labor day weekend my husband and 5 yr old child stayed in a King room with pullout couch. There was lots of room to spread out, the room had a coffee table, which was a nice additiont o the large desk and dresser/credenza. Would have liked a mini-refrigerator, but ther was none. Only minus was the non-working elevator! only one elevator working, many delays.
Was staying in this hotel for 2 weeks and coordinating up to 5 people coming in going from my buisness team during this 2 weeks. First they couldn't, after repeated calls and going to the front desk, get the names and dates right for the travelers in my group. They had inconsistent quality of service at the front desk, and Its been over week later and i still haven't recieved my corrected bill after leaving a message every day since. Will never recommend staying at a downtown hotel longterm. Especially this one. A clean room can only count for so much.
