Really enjoyed the personalized touch from the front desk. The valet option. The artistic atmosphere was a nice experience.
Small amenities would make a huge difference in the single rooms. Like hooks and an extra shelf in the bathroom for getting ready.
Front desk was great. The location was close to downtown. Very clean.
Our room had broken curtains, no fixture covers and a nearly impossible to figure out shower. Very very bare bones. Zero vanity space and no full length mirrors.
Outstanding service from staff, from valet to checkout. Very, very clean suite, fully stocked ready to move in! Full size fridge with icemaker, kitchen had coffeepot,toaster,microwave.... Room service breakfast was great. This room had it all.
There were no bad points about this stay.
Location is perfect!
Nothing bad to say
The Staff were wonderful - All of them without exception. Thank you. The rooms are also huge and the rates are great.
There was no elevator to each floor. The shower head could be replaced. The bed tilted to the middle a little which may be a little uncomfortable for a couple. No major problems though and as you can see below, I would still recommend the hotel.
Liked its location on Federal Hill in an Italian neighborhood. Comfortable although very austere modern Italian decoration - could use a few warmer touches. Liked looking out at the piazza - and proximity to wonderful Italian foods store on the corner.
Only one hanger in the two-bedroom accommodation! Sound on TV in the living room was very bad - couldn't watch it there.
Great location, friendly staff
Can't smoke in room
The room was very clean. I loved the full kitchen and the comfortableness of the room.
Twice we asked for a working remote for the T.V. and when we finally did get one it didn't work. It was later in the evening when we realized this and wasn't didn't want to make mention of it again. The room didn't have a remote to start with either. The bed, however very comfortable, made quite a bit of noice when getting into it. It squeeked and creaked a lot when you moved around on it but once you were comfortable where you layed, it was a very nice matress and pillows.
It is very hard to find, the desk clerk guided us in via telephone. It is on the square so no road directly in front. It is more of a alley entrance and directions do not make any reference to this. The room was spotless .,..a nd had everything you would need, including kitchen dishes and cooking utensils. The square out the front door is wonderful and the Italian dinning excellent
A very nice experience, not like a chain hotel. Great bed and pillows. Nice to have a kitchen, coffee, creamer. Front desk staff was helpful and professional. We like the location.
Bath towels were not the best.
Dolce Villa was very different from any other hotel we have seen. It was a double room all in crisp clean white. The kitchen was very complete, great for a longer stay. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The location is nice at the little Italian square with the restaurants.
The whiteness of the hotel gave a bit of a 'cold' feeling. The couch was not very comfortable to sit on. The bed was of not such a great quality (anymore?), it squeeked a lot just by turning. We were located at the side of the hotel where the trash bins were frequently used during the night, but if you use earplugs it's no problem at all (which is a good idea in any hotel by the way).
Staff was helpful and considerate
