Bedroom had lounge area
Check out after breakfast on morning of departure was not good. Staff couldn't access computorised details of previous nights meal or issue a VAT receipt
Food was quite good and reasonably priced.
We found that the hotel was not up to standard. No glasses in bathroom. No remote control for TV. No decent chair to sit on whilst in room. Central heating radiator was not in use but we were given a small electric heater. Carpet did not look very clean. The staff room or office was immediately next door to our room with only a partition wall between them; hence we could hear everything they were saying and doing. Very annoying late at night and being woken up by the banging Etc. If we could hear them, then they probably would have been able to hear us.
Good service in all areas.
Allocated ground floor bedroom in stable block. Room OK but very noisy from rooms above. Woken at 05.00 and noisy from then on.
Food was acceptable, staff very helpful
room was poorly equipped, no remote on television, light did not work in bathroom
the room was seperate from the pub itself, the staff were very helpful too
