Excellent Location San Diego Bay across street and boat marina on the other side of hotel.
Absolutely love the quiet harbor side stay in beautiful San Diego... Spectacular views and amazingly quiet and with a hint of luxury and the staff was nice and welcoming
Staff double charged me for my stay...
Beautiful room with a balcony and water view Great new comfy bed Friendly, helpful staff Good restaurant with reasonable pricing and solid local clientele Easy parking
Slightly noisy on the street side due to traffic and airport
Location was ok with a car easy access to downtown, shopping , restaurants etc
We could hear doors closing , other guests talking when in our room
Location. Friendly staff. Clean. Room was amazing. Comfot.
Initially we were shown a very tiny room near the road which wasn't quiet or appealing. When we went back to the desk to see if there was something available on the marina side--they were very co-operative and helpful in finding an excellent room with a view. The bathrooms were large, well stocked, and very tastefully done.
The third night I was there my room was near the lounge area in the building 1901 and the room was excellent, near the pool. However, there was a loud group in the lounge area after 11pm. They were very noisy and they found it difficult to quiet down even after security visited them. They just moved to a room down the hall. It was after 1am when there was quiet.
Nice hotel, beautiful area. Just a short drive to city center (20 usd by taxi). Several hotels, nice dinnings close to the hotel. Good parking. We like it a lot.
Nothing we didnt like
The King bed was really comfortable and the pillows were the best. For those looking for a well priced, clean and affordable room, choose this hotel. Just walk across the street and you are on the waterfront, or walk 100 feet and you are facing the marina. We spent 5 days there and it was perfect for us. But like most reviews, they say more about the person writing it than they do the actual hotel, since everyone has their own individual tastes and needs. Parking was free, which is not the case downtown where you can pay $20 per night extra. And wireless was free too.
We were not told that the main restaurant would be closed for several weeks due to a major renovation. But there are tons of delightful restaurants within a few miles so it didn't matter.
Location and price
Te carpet was not clean
Nice rooms with great access to the marina and central to other attractions. We attended marine boot camp graduation.
We only there 1 night but found it a very good place to stay
