The location was good.
The plastic mattress pad under the sheet was the pits. It crackled every time you moved and sweated you throughout the night. The listing said parking was available, BUT it was not owned by the Hotel and you had to pay up to $45 dollars per night, depending on the day of the week. There was no parking close by that was any better. The small room had a sink only which we were expecting. The ceiling fan/light had maroon shoe laces tied to the chain so you could reach them. Tacky. Hallways still under construction.
Staff, close to town
Facility was under construction, people living there. Very dirty and unsafe. No bathroom in room, shared bathroom and shower with the other guests. People and noises Loud all night. Will not ever come back.
This location is right in the middle of so many things to do.
They are remodeling the hotel and there are many wires hanging out and many holes in the walls and ceilings. Everything is dirty from construction.
Internet connection is good. Location is good.
The booking said a double twin room with shared bathroom. To our surprise, it was just a bed good for 2 persons. The room was so small. And there were 2 toilets and 2 showers for the entire floor! Also, booking said parking was available. Alas, it was a public parking were you still have to pay extra. Inside the hotel, saw a couple of roaches. The elevator was horrible and smelly. The walls were horrendous. Overall, the appearance of the inside of the hotel is highly undesirable. I wouldnt even think of coming back here.
The view was fine
This hotel just wasn't a good fit for my husband and I so we found somewhere else to stay. We checked out early and expected to be refunded for the night that we were not going to be staying in the hotel. The clerk refused to refund us because we booked a two night reservation. How can we be charged for a room that we are not staying in? That's ridiculous. The rooms are quite dirty and uncomfortable. The bathrooms are just about disgusting and I skipped a shower altogether because it was so dirty. Will never be staying here again. This is definitely the last time I try to save a few bucks on a hotel in San francisco.
The staff and the location were great.
The whole place was under construction the entire timw including hammering before 9 am, plastic on the floors, there were bugs, outlets and lights didn't work & the bed had loud plastic with non-existent pillows. There was 1 towel for 2 people. We chose not to shower there after seeing the toilets for the whole floor.
Location was good
Service staff were somewhat hostile. If you have guests, even for a few hours, expect to be interrogated and potentially charged extra fees.
Price. Location is close to union square.
Broken bathroom door and blow dryer. Bed and towel sheets looked outdated and old. Slow elevator. No AC.
I like the position of the hotel，so near of city center.and the waiter and receptionist so kind.we feel very nice.
This is one of many hotels in the area, certainly not oneof the best but possibly one of the cheaper/cheapest. Facilities are, however, poor: only a few rooms - I believe - have own bathroom, rest is shared. And for around Us$ 75 p room that is not good enough. Only big plus: location; between numerous art galleries, shops of every kind and right in central sf down town.
No private bathroom.
I stayed in a similar hotel in London with common bathroom and breakfast included. The Post reminded me of my viits to the UK.
The television in the room.
A lot of noise (and steam) from radiator in the room. A lot noise from other guests. Forgotten case for glasses under bed from earlier guest suggesting lack of cleaning.
Location, location, location - that's what it's all about! The room was pretty small, but clean and the staff was friendly. Muni and bart (I.E. from and to the airport) are just a couple of blocks away.
