First tried to put me in a room that was directly adjacent to their gym. Noisy on the first floor. No view except of concrete wall of property next door. After several complaints they moved me. This ? Hotel has no room service. Nothing in the fridgeNob hill prices, travelodge experience.
The friendliness of the staff was above and beyond.
The location isn't ideal for children and strollers. Hint: parents need to taxi. Also, the valet parking was a tad pricey. Some 4-stars are hit or miss so I was skeptical at first but the staff and room upgrade were amazing. I hope my winning bid is with this hotel on my next stay!
Parking is outrageous, also the valet parking man said it was included with the room. It's xxx plus tax. When I talked to the lady at the front desk about it, she laughed at me and said ' honey... Parking is never free'. Horrible customer se
Everything in the room was of good quality.
Apparently there were a couple of conferences in town and they had given away the room I had already by the time I got there at 10:45PM. They were short staffed and it took me 45 minutes from standing in the short line to getting into my then small room.
Room faced the street, which was very noisy. Don't expect to sleep late.
Great view, comfy bed, and spacious room. The valet and housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The front desk staff need to smile more and be more personable. They were not rude or anything negative, just not as pleasant as front line staff should be, especially for a 4 star hotel.
I definitely enjoyed my stay there because of the convenience of where the hotel was and close proximity to where we wanted to be.
For 1st timers I was a bit surprised they would put us on the cable car side with all the noise and that they didn't say how loud or how long the cable cars ran. Also the ac didn't work so the windows had to be open.Overall we enjoyed our time and probably would stay there again.
Location was amazing, easy to get to any part of the city. Fantastic customer service by everyone. Love the bed and bedding!!! Would love to stay again!
NOLocation was amazing, easy to walk to Union Square, Fisherman Warf,Pier, Market Street, and the Embarcadero Center. Easy/breezy to catch a Cable car...on the corner in front of the Hotel. Fantastic customer service by everyone. Love the bed and bedding!!! Quiet hotel. Would love to stay again!
My room was upgraded for free. Great staff.
Parking fee in the city...yikes...always $50 a day for valet parking in a hotel.Nice location, on the top on Nob Hill. They do need to put in new carpet in the hallways. I would definitely stay there again. A great trick to know...if you plan on walking down the hill to Union Square or China Town, there is a stairwell across the street on California Ave, after Powell that takes you to the Stockton Tunnel. It is much easier to walk down the stairwell to get to China Town or Union square, thus avoiding too many steep hills to walk.
Location was where I wanted the hotel to be.
Water pressure in the shower and water temperature in the shower could have been better. The temp never went above luke warm and the pressure, while more than a trickle, wasn't much more than a trickle
