Room, Gym, Hospitality, Location, Views, it was allll goooood.
No water cooler in the gym, they did have a pitcher of cold water but that was not sufficient to support all the people working out.One of my top 3 hotel experiences in the past two decades. Second time I've ever taken a bath in a hotel. Can't wait to take my wife the next time I stay.
Design, style, luxury and spacious rooms.
Location was a bit off as we traveled mainly for touristic purposes. It was far from Roppongi, Shibuya etc. Also, there was no place open at night within walking distance to the hotel. It was above my expectation for the amount paid and star level. Location was the only problem.
The overall ambiance and atmosphere.
No. The hotel was perfect.
Fabulous hotel. Wonderful staff. Amazing view. Easy access to multiple train / metro stations.
As one would expect with a 5-star hotel, the on-site restaurants were expensive. There were restaurants around, but you had to hunt a bit to find them.Fabulous hotel. Wonderful staff. Amazing view. Lovely room. Easy access to multiple train / metro stations. Hunt around the train station and go into some of the other high rises and you'll find shops and restaurants.
The hotel was beautiful, but I had a major problem.
Yes, the hotel practices discriminatory policies. See below.I was ejected from the hotel gym. While I was exercising on the elliptical, the gym attendant approached me and asked that I put tape over a small tattoo on the right side of my lower calf. The hotel is just a simple moon and stars design of about inch in diameter. When I declined, the attendant asked that I leave the gym. I asked to speak to the manager of the gym and eventually, I was able to speak with the duty manager. He explained that this tiny tattoo (from the 1980s) causes discomfort for the other gym users, who might mistake the tattoo as a link to possible mafia interests. I explained that if I am not able to use the hotel facilities freely, then I should leave the hotel. After much discussion, he eventually informed me that he would take responsibility for possible customer complaints and that I should feel free t...
It is a regal hotel! Not convenient to reach via subway or train, but well worth the travel hassle.
Just not easy to get to from the subway. You can't find an up escalator or elevator within that subway station. Take a cab!Awesome hotel! Great views, great staff. Friendly staff! The rooms are fantastic. Automatic blinds!
Size of rooms - beautiful public spaces.
Service was not up to expectations but overall ok.Beautiful hotel. Huge rooms for Tokyo. Great location close to metro, though perhaps not in the most touristy of areas. Overall good impression.
Huge rooms, excellent staff, great location, went well above my expectations
The entrance was tough to find, but not a big deal. Room service was well over priced for what you got, even compared to other hotels. Checkout I had to wait 5 - 10 minutes.Huge rooms, excellent staff, great location, went well above my expectations. Great views of the bay, at least from my room, but assume city views nice as well. Good gym. Great restuarants. Great Bar with awesome Tokyo view.
Amazing view, incredibly helpful staff, and pretty good location (though a bit of a walk to JR lines).
Would have been nice to know how to get to Narita from here. Not a big deal, since it's mostly my fault (didn't do enough research).Amazing views of Tokyo, incredibly friendly staff and easily accessible by Tokyo Metro. It's a bit far from the closest JR line (if you have a JR pass), so be ready for that. The Narita shuttle is a bit pricey too (3000Y per person), so plan ahead for your trip to the airport. Other than that, it was amazing especially for the price.
