Bed linens and pillows were not entirely comfortable
Nice, clean, small, very friendly reception, central location
The price was too high
location, location, location. it was within a 30 minute walk from anything you want to see in downtown Vancouver.
Very small room, scuffed walls, very low water pressure, tiny bathroom with no exhaust fan, very humid.let's start with the humidity. the clothes that were zipped up in our separate suitcases within a few days in were borderline damp, and smelled like they were left in the washing machine for too long. we had to keep the air conditioning set at 64, the fan on, and the window open to make it bearable. there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which is very small. so what do you do?you keep the door open of course so the steam can escape... only the smoke alarm confused this steam with smoke, and would begin this ear piercing screeching sound. they charge you $14/day to park in a garage a block down the road. the garage only charges $10/day for non hotel customers. there are fridges in each room, but of co...
Very friendly and helpful staffs! Specially front desk staff Migual!
Location was great.
Elevator took forever and painting was being done on our floor during stay here
poor view in a lot of roomsI enjoyed my stay. The hotel staff was very helpful.
It was a very nostalgic hotel, double glass windows to keep the noise out.Very close to where we went for entertainmentStaff were very courteous. The restaurant staff were really nice and helpful with the menu.
The only thing problem was the floor above us had a wooden floor. There was quite a bit of noise from shoes and phones buzzing on the floor. And the girls upstairs were really noisy. Lucky we brought earplugs. :)The Moda Hotel isn't super fancy. But it's clean, and the staff were courteous, and accomodating. There's a great restaurant various dishes. Fresh food. Also a beer and wine store, with an excellent selection of beer, wine coolers etc. It's a block or two from the Commadore Ballroom and entertainment on Granville Street.
The location of the hotel was wonderful. Also the room decor was very nice and modern. The room had everything that we needed.
The hotel lobby felt fairly cramped even when no other guests were there; when other guests were there, it was overwhelming. The room we were assigned to was teeny-tiny (I think it was one of their 150 sq.ft. ones). But seeing as we didn't spend much timGreat location, tiny (but well-appointed) room. Very modern decor. Professional staff.
Rooms felt more like a motel room.I loved the location. Right in the middle of downtown with restaurants and bars and many of tourist sights nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful. For the price it was a good deal. Don't know if I would stay there again.
