Opened in 1991, the hotel occupies a converted Patrician house and is situated in one of Vienna´s oldest districts, the Spittelberg. This part of the city offers a historic ambience and the Imperial Palace, the Ring Street and the Museums Quarter are in walking distance.

Here dark colors dominate the interiors, exuding an erotic elegance underlined by damask wallpaper, crystal chandeliers and furnishings of superb and exquisite quality. Two Viennese product and furniture designers named Polka recently created two new rooms by focusing on comfort, transparency and elegance.
The English-style Red Salon accomodates the superb breakfast buffet as well as a bar, where you can relax next to the open fireplace. In the afternoon you can enjoy complimentary tea and cake there. The staff is always at guests disposal and well known for individual first-class service.
