Great service but food taste and options have gone down a few notches.

This airlines is always my favorite. Very consistent customer service and food is good. My last flight with them, I had no idea we landed because it was just that smooth of a land.

Excellent crew, immediate attention for any request. Both ways on time (rather before time arrival at Haneda). Only complaint was that the seats are not reclining like rest of the airlines that I travelled. The Backrest is fixed. The reclining is only within the box seat, so you slide down forward for reclining, not backward. So it was bit uncomfortable. The food for the day trip was excellent. For the night flight, no breakfast was served, only dinner, which was disappointing.

At least it was not very cold inside the plane. I noticed there was now a bidet in the bathroom and that’s good! I didn’t like the window seat. Flight was smooth except for 1 turbulence. Plane was on time. Thanks. Food was not that great. Miso and green tea were good! As usual movies were old and there were no changes.

Food as always. PA was not clear, especially the English ones. Very limited Hollywood movies. Unlike the first flight I had, this plane has less leg room and less room for my under seat baggage.

Please change menu every now & then bc I fly twice within the year and serving the food the same

The Experience was fantastic, it's a quick flight so no entertainment or food. Just a refreshment

Great crew, Japanese domestic flight is just a drink service but crew are very attentive

First of all I had dozed off. And when I woke up, my food was on a tray without telling me the food was there or asking me if I wanted something to drink. They never came back to ask me if I wanted anything to drink and I tried to stop them several times. I personally have a problem swallowing food without something to drink with it. so therefore I could not eat., second thing for the entertainment. There was no place to plug the headset in because the tip had been broken off into the monitor to where you couldn’t even watch a movie or hear any music that was annoying .

JAL is a flawless airlines. Perfect customer service. On-time boarding, clean airlines, and incomparable in-flight dining.

The flight was cold. The entire time, the food was nothing more than a cheese hot pocket. They wanted to sell everything else midway during the flight. They said that we were landing in a half hour and then added that we had to return to Honolulu, but gave no reason why. I was so scared I was crying. I didn’t know until we landed that it was because of an unruly passenger that we had to turn around. The crew was very cold about it, and we had to wait in the airport where they gave us snacks, which was nothing more than a bag of pretzels and a fruit juice

It was great with the exception of a rude desk member on the way back. And a terrible sandwich on the way back.

They transferred us last minute to United where we had a 4 hour wait on the tarmac to fix a generator and then they ran out of food on the flght.

Our flight to Lihue was cancelled two times so after paying for baggage etc we had to go to seattle wait a couple of hours and then to Lihue. What should have been a five hour trip took over 10 with two kids and four adults, frankly it wasn't fun. The trip home was ok but seats are very cramped . I just wish we could have spoken to somebody who would understand what a hardship this was on our family vacation

Grumpy and rude gate attendant who was unwilling to help anyone who asked him for assistance. Too little leg room.

Staff was amazing during flight. Overall the actual flight was pretty good! But a couple not so great things: I couldn’t get the entrainment to work on my devices. We showed up over an hour before departure and the lady at the gate told us the flight was boarding, and “good luck” making the flight bc it was the last gate in the terminal… everyone was running frantically trying to make the flight. Also, bag didn’t make it to Lihue. It was delivered the next day. Which was a major bummer, had baby formula, diapers, and a lot of important stuff that can’t be purchased it Lihue. I get it happens but it’s still a huge inconvenience… lady at the counter couldn’t have cared less, offered no apology.

They had me wait after everyone has boarded to assign a seat for me. WHY?! After about 10 min, they assigned me the last seat in the flight, all the way at end , 46 E or something like that. The food came ONCE, and after, we got some snacks during 12 hours flight. My tv had very poor volume and I was not able to see a movie properly. The staff was super grumpy and stiff and absolutely not welcoming, acting like they are doing US a favor to be there during the flight. Extremely disappointed. I have a flight on 02/22. I’m not looking forward 😩

VERY short notice (<24 hours) flight delay by 6 hours. Had to reschedule and pay more to book with another airlines.

My 1st class flight from Portland to Honolulu was excellent. Wonderful experience. Lihue to Maui to Portland was poor. Departing flight from Lihue was cancelled at the last minute. Rerouted through Maui to Portland, but no 1st class seats were available. Arrived Portland about 3 hours later than planned.

The food has never improved. It will never improve. But when I'm boarding a flight in priority boarding and I've spent 10 hours inside the security area of the airport and I get "randomly" selected for additional screening as I board the plane when the flight has already been delayed, and I work as a military contractor that has been issued visas direct from JMOD, I find it ridiculous. I would never recommend anyone to use AA on international flights. JAL is a better airline with older planes. The flight attendants on international hauls on American also have a chip on their shoulder and really dont deliver the same level of service code share partners do.

Transfer from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 by bus is chaotic, because as per information Free Shuttle Bus was supposed to take passengers from Domestic Terminal 1 to International Terminal 3, but the bus took us from Terminal 1 to terminal 2, then to Terminal 1 ,, 2 and finally to Terminal 3

My baggage went to Dallas and not to Philadelphia. Do I need to add anything else?

The flight attendants were excellent. They were Japanese obviously. They helped my wife navigate the controls for the seat. The lunch setup was wonderful. They were always walking up and down the aisles to be sure there were no problems.

Cut off carry ons, had to check, got on and there was plenty of bin space. Disappointing.

Overall pleasant was delayed and caused transportation issue when landing

We could have left on time. We were an hour late.

Delay. Flight was delayed in Washington.knew that connection was impossible as not enough time to switch terminals. The steward would not let me stay the night. So forced to Dallas.late night, after 10pm.hotel checkin was one hour. Passengers lined up only one girl to checkin at comfort inn. No food availability at that time. Had to leave early at 6:30 am to catch a flight at 8:45. Stressfull.

My overall experience was wonderful. American airlines looked after me very well in all my flights. I'm especially thankful with the way they dealt with my connection Phoenix - Honolulu, in which I had less than 20 mins to board, and the staff were able to get me in, as well as my luggage. A big thanks to them!

Unfortunately we had turbulence because of the weather and when we were about to land in Miami, the pilot brought the aircraft quickly up because another plane was in its way. The pilot was remarkable however we weren’t told until we started our second descent. Our flight was GOOD
