The university offers free WiFi and chargeable on-site parking. Guests can explore the university campus and enjoy views over Bath. A hot breakfast is included for most bookings (please check individual room conditions) , and is served in the Lime Tree restaurant, which is located just a few minutes' walk from the accommodation. Vending machines, as well as shared, basic kitchens are available to guests. Sports facilities are on offer for an additional charge. Please note that rooms of different types may be allocated in different blocks. Guests wishing to be together need to book the same room type. The property endeavours to meet all requests but please be aware that at times this is not possible. The University of Bath has a regular bus service, which departs from the campus at 10-minute intervals, making it the perfect base to explore the city and surrounding area. Bath Spa Railway Station is a short 10-minute drive away. The University operates a pay and display parking system, but discounted parking permits are available to all guests at a cost of GBP 5.50 for up to 7 days.
The Room - without any facilities is quiet and safe - and the Bus Link (route 18 + U18) from outside the central bus station is well serviced.
I did Not really enjoy my stay at the University - On arrival - I could not find the Check In Reception area in the dark - so had to walk a lot within the Campus to find it - I stayed in Marlborough Court, there was No Tea / Coffee facilities available in room or anywhere within the accommodation block - and No TV in the room - nor Radio either !! For Breakfast - it is available in the Sports Village Gym building - but as I experienced, one morning the Chef was not available - and on morning 2, a large queue had formed that would have kept me waiting for 40 minutes standing just to get a cuppa or something to eat. I ate in central Bath at the Royal Hotel outside the railway station - and would recommend that Hotel to stay and eat in instead. Not Forgetting - I stayed at a University Campus and Not a Hotel.
