The Hotel Mediolanum is a modern 4 stars business hotel member of the international chain Worldhotels. The hotel has been recently renovated following the last trends of the international hòtellerie. The common spaces show bright colours as prevailing and shapes inspired by the contemporary design: the interiors recall the style of famous architects like Zanuso and Le Corbusier.
The Hotel is located in a strategic position thanks to the closeness of the Central Station (MM2 Green Subway Line): fulcrum of the city of Milano and Air Terminal.
At a small range of few hundred of meters from Via Mauro Macchi you can find the subway stations of Porta Venezia (MM1 Red Line with direct connection to the congress center and exhibition quarter) and Repubblica (MM3 Yellow Line). The railway link stops in both and it connects with the nearby cities. In the hotel’s surroundings you can find the Garibaldi Station (high speed train terminal).
The 51 Mediolanum rooms will put you in direct contact with the emotions caused by the colours: the light fills up the interiors which get painted of lively, passionate, relaxing colours. According to your mood and needs you can switch to a relaxing green, or to a concentrating purple. All the rooms All the rooms are soundproof and equipped with air conditioning, parquet floor, free satellite TV, telephone, Wi-Fi and safe.

location, very close to the central station.
First room smoky, but they changed it!
the friendly ambiance of all the staff without exception.
lack of restaurant in hotel, lack of dining in room hotel service. Non availability of fried eggs at breakfast.no yellow pages in room to widen tourist information service. lack of diet coke or diet pepsi in the minibar. lack of supply of at least one complimentary bottle of f water to resident as a hospitality gesture.
Funky room style, friendly staff, big bed, good location.
Monday morning is obviously when rubbish bins are collected and front of hotel room was a bit noisy then.
Beside the noise everything was o.k. The breakfast was very good.
It was quite noisy during the night.
The rooms were gorgeous. Would stay there again. Thanks for the free upgrade!
it was not easy get some information about the events in town
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The in room guide was great offering fantastic local and city restaurants, take away and other services, which of the ones we used were excellent. Location to Corso Venezia good, a lot to see on the walk down to the Piazza del Duomo.
A 20 minute walk to the Centre (Duomo) so not all that central. The rooms were not what we expected. Not as contemporary and unique as the website suggested. The room decor and fit out needs serious attention. In saying that though the bathroom was reasonable and very clean so that was good. Whilst we appreciate that in Europe most hotels will have smoking floors, we did request a non smoking room yet we did not get it and all the linen smelt of smoke.
bright decorarating its a bit bright for mornings
