This hotel was in a home and in a quiet traditional area of town. It ws within walking distance of all attractions.
Not a huge problem except perhaps for those with mobility challenges. Parking was advertised as nearby. On rare occasions (2 nights out of 7) I was able to park near the hotel, but on the other five I had to park near the harbor, about 400 m away. A public phone was right outside the hotel, and people were using this at all hours of the night and early morning. Conversations could be heard from inside, but this is mostly because it was a quiet area, and any noise was noticeable
Excellent location for both the main location and the annex where we stayed -- only a few minutes to central square and waterfron. A great deal of attention and imagination was given for creating a turn of last century feeling. Has private bath but the size is closet-like but has all the necessities. Area of hotel is quiet and has a restaurant and coffee shop around the corner. Note comments apply to two rooms seen in the annex. Highly recommended.
The hotel is better than i coud imagine. Excellent location with beautiful surroundings.Excellent homemade breakfast.Staff are charming.Everething was perfect.
Location, location, location. This is for that person who wants to be in old Naplion and not walk up hundreds of steps. Located on a back, very tiny square and just around the corner from everything. Request one of the "superior" rooms if you are looking for quaint. This is not an elegant place, but kind on the budget. Breakfasts were more than ample. We enjoyed being close to everything, but in a quiet area. I could have sat on my tiny balcony for hours and just watch the activity below.
Many reviewers mentioned the smell of cat urine. This does pervade the reception area, but we did not have a problem in our room. If you don't like cats, stay somewhere else! This is not a car friendly area and you need to plan on parking outside the grid of small streets and walking in, then it really all comes together. The booking.com map had the hotel one street off making finding it unneccessarily tiresome.
Very friendly staff! They even surprised us with a flower buckét since it was my wife's birthday. Location was in the middle of the old town, so it was short distance to everywhere. Breakfast was generous (with several different kind of sweets), and in the room we had coffee, tea (with very fresh lemons directly from the tree), cookies and even chocolate easter eggs!
A pleasent stay in a very cozy room!
The bathroom could be cleaner. We found a little cockroach inside the bathroom!
The pension was charming located in the heart of quaint Nafplio. Being able to walk out of the rooms right to the waterfront, eateries, and shops was quite nice. The beaches and Venetian fort were in walking distance as well. The pension provides limitless quantities of packaged croissants, crackers, and cookies, and water in addition to the use of a coffeemaker and refrigerator which made it that much more cozy and cute.
Breakfast only adequate.
An excellent pension. The owner and her family were very helpful in suggesting good restaurants, shops and points of interest. I would stay there again.
Family Hotel and the owner was very kind. The room was neat and clean.
The location is rather difficult to find out for car driver. It was dificult to secure parking space near hotel. The room lamp was dark.
