Location was perfect! They have a house car that can take you to the airport or pick you up. We had a king room that was beautifully decorated and so spacious. Would definitely stay here again.
There were a couple of spots that were stained on the shower curtain and on the down comforter. However, I never felt that these things weren't clean there were just some spots. The knobs on the shower were backwards and the facet was slanted so it was sometimes difficult to turn the shower off. This doesn't take away from the fact that the shower felt absolutely amazing!
The room was overlooking Central Park and very enjoyable. My Grandaughter(10) and I were so impressed by the hotel service. Everyone was so accommodating and friendly. Best NY trip ever! Central to everything
You see and hear everything in NY. Its a life experience !
The bed was certainly comfortable. Probably the best part of the room.
A coffee maker would be nice to have.
The location is amazing and the staff generally helpful.
Rooms need some updating as do the bathrooms, but overall the hotel is good value by NYC standards.
They hit me with a $30 dollars plus tax facility fee which is ridiculous why should we pay facility valet parking is ridiculous expensive , they hotel needs to be updated the style is from the late 90's we should get more for what we paid for
They ignored my original reservation of a King executive suite and put me in a double room. This room had gum on the floor, the bathroom looked dirty, the carpet was disgusting and discolored, overall it needed to be updated. I complained and they ignored my reservation, again, and put me in another double room. This room was slightly updated, but still not what I paid for! After returning a third time, they finally gave me the King room I paid for, but it was almost as disgusting as the first room. Luckily, I had business meetings and was not in my room very much, but it made the end of a long day very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!!
Great location, fabulous staff, good amenities.
Old beds, lumpy pillows, dated decor.
Location is good.
The front desk people are not friendly. They hit me with a "Facility Fee" of $30.00 puls tax (daily) no prior explanation from the front desk ( as to what Facility had I used) when I checked out. Poor communication with guests. Luckily I did ask them to waive this charge. They should explain to me on Facilities Fee when I check in!. Poor customer service! Would I come back to this hotel? You guess!
I like the location of the Park Lane Hotel. The stuff was very friendly.
I didn't like that when I got to my rood the bathroom looked dirty. The toilet seat had a urine on it which wasn't the best welcoming moment.
Good location and comfortable bed
Huge amounts of dust on the wall, no fridge, no tea amenities, staff selectively nice to some guests only, no breakfast despite of the USD 400 per night tag
Lack of staff response to requests. Misleading parking rates. Lack of room service after 11:00 a.m. One phone in room did not work. Rate changed during my booking of room. This used to be a prime hotel, now 2nd or 3rd rate.
Gym is really well equipped, lots of cardio, strength as well as swiss balls, bosu, mats, spri etc. and it's on the park so I would go for a run in the park then stretch and workout in the gym each am.
Everything was fine. Not the newest, but clean and functional.
Location Room size Decor and friendly feel of hotel
The bathroom needed some work.. Toilet was loose to the floor, shower curtain was dirty and needed replacing. Cabinets and bathroom fixtures needed upgrades.
The hotel have not been up dated I should of requested a changed of room but I was not going to waste two hours of my stay to make sure that I could move to another room. Drainage was an issue in the bathroom. Tough wonderful location it was an unpleasant stay
Desperately needs renovations. Old bathrooms, worn carpet, very outdated gym equipment.
Location is excellent - staff was very helpful and professional
Having a business center would be helpful and free wifi
Good value. If this property were upgraded to fit the block it's on, the rates would be higher. Not great though.
Front desk staff I dealt with was not friendly. Bell staff and housekeeping staff was fine.
Staff was very friendly and helpful
Wallpaper was peeling, sheets were so rough they hurt, very poor soundproofing, very plain room for the amount of money you spend, overall not a good hotel. If it wasn't for the location this would be one step above a motel.
