I checked in a bit early. No problems. The shower had a leak that was throwing water on the ceiling they fixed it in 5 minutes. Great parking with elevator access. Right on the water too. Coffee, juice and cakes in the lobby in the mornings.
I liked the location. It was close to the beach and we could walk to it.
There was a strong smell of marijuana that we could smell in our room and public areas. They had few standard sized parking spaces. The fire alarm sensor battery ran low causing it to beep throughout our last morning there. The toilet seat was bad.
It is right on the beach.
The front desk clerk wasn't friendly & couldn't be understood. There was a lot of creepy weird guys on the balcony one who filmed my daughter and I getting things from our car. Room was dirty & the sheets had hair all over it. Tv didn't work.
The room was clean and the shower was perfect it had great water pressure and the shower head accually worked I was very pleased
The desk clerks English was very poor and could not understand a word he was saying
great location, staff nice, relatively clean but needs updating
housekeeping takes a long time to service rooms. parking is limited. street parking is only 2 hours long. You have to pay for all nights up front, which is weird. Usually you pay when you are done.
The room was clean and the staff courteous. We enjoyed hiking on the trail near the motel. It was great to have a window that opened so we could hear the surf. I had called and requested a room with an ocean view and they accommodated us as it was our ann
The ocean view was amazing!
Two small pillows, could use two more.
Couldn't ask for a better location for the price. Room was just the right size and the fridge and microwave came in handy.
I really like the ocean- that's why I stayed there. It's walking distance to the beach. The workers there are very friendly and answer any questions you have. The price is right and I would recommend to give it a try. Room is clean and confortable.
Location to SF and ocean view.
If your selling point is the ocean; clean the windows so the view is pristine!
Very easy to check in & out.the fact we can always bring our dog is great!Easy access to beach & restaurant loved our stay.
Close to beach.
I liked it all and the staff was friendly and nice.
Beautiful area and view located right next to the ocean with an excellent restaurant next door loved the people area etc.
we stayed during the biggest storm in 20 years to that area that put a damper on our time but not much
Location to San Francisco
Very old building. Room smelled musty. Bathtub dirty. Showerhead old and had no water pressure.
We had a Oceanview room and we really enjoyed it.
Would had liked to had breakfast but the restaurant across the street was great.
being close to the ocean.
The price is not conforming with the hotel quality. Also a bit far (30 minutes) from downtown.
Room was clean. The area is quiet.
Not enough parking for guests. The quality of the motel was not worth the price. They should not be allowed to say they have continental breakfast. It consisted of pastries in plastic wrappers and coffee or orange juice.
It was a very inconvenient 30 second walk to the beach, perhaps worst of all, every time we opened a window all we could hear was the crashing surf and those tiny little bubbles bursting on the sand as the water retreated. It was terrible!
A tight, compact parking area that called for careful maneuvering -- to be expected where land value is high. Biggest concern was thoughtless travelers smacking the side of my car with their doors. I was not disappointed. Thanks big man with the Lincoln.
The ocean view.
This is an old hotel. No coffee pot in the room, had to go to the front desk for a cup of coffee. Just the very basics were provided.
Not on the water but about 100 yards away. For the price, it wasn't a bad stay. Rooms were clean.
Could be updated and can really use new furnishings. Mattresses were too soft.
The location was good
There were virtually no amenities, the furnishings were very old and outdated
Easy access from large road cleaning lady was very nice/ service desk was nice very close to beach
The decor/carpet looked & smelled 30 years old. I bought a bottle of febreeze for the room. Parking is first come, first serve;not guaranteed a spot in the lot.Bed was made daily but sheets changed every other day. The wifi connection is not dependable.
The location was great... so lovely to have the ocean closeby. It was close enough to restaurants and bars as well.
Our room wasn't ready until 3pm.
The location is a ten minute drive to the Daly City Bart Statio
Filthy room. We found trash from the previous occupant between the wall and one to the beds. Paid for a room with an ocean view however the window was so filthy we could hardly see out.
The view from my room was amazing. Sometimes all you want is a decent room and a view of the ocean without breaking the bank and by all means, this met that criteria. (although there was bird poop on our window looking out to the ocean)
NO BREAKFAST - Though my receipt and the hotel confirmed 'breakfast' was going to be served this turned out to be a 'continental breakfast' which consisted of packaged danishes (very cheap ones like from a crappy liquor store) and crapp coffee. SUCKED
The Pacifica Motor Inn is no place to write home about at first. It's a basic room with basic accommodations, but the location is amazing! It's located right on Rockaway Beach next to a gorgeous beach. You are surrounded by two great restaurants with a friendly atmosphere and spectacular views. Really...this quiet beach is breathtaking. The little town of Pacifica is nestled right between San Francisco and Half Moon Bay. Both locations are a quick 20 minute drive from each. My husband and I stayed at the Pacifica Motor Inn when we attended the Half Moon Bay Harvest Festival in October (highly recommend that). The surrounding area is so stunning that we didn't mind our modest accommodations. The price is a steal considering the location. They also welcome pets for those who like to travel with their animals. I highly recommend this place. :)
I spent two days planning a labor day weekend getaway. This hotel was such a shit hole we left after one day and returnerd home. The beds are worn out, the furniture is from goodwill. The room smelled like seagull crap, and the thermostat was stuck on air conditioning. It was 58 degrees in the room. We had a 2 and 4 year old and they both became ill. The hotel refused to answer our calls all night, the next morning when myself and my wife confronted them on this they called us a liar, saying we never contacted them--bottom line, they refused to answer the phone. I asked them to just sign the bill stating that we were checking out early and they refused. I had to call the police to verify we were leaving and turning in the cards. I spoke with a neighbor beside me and he stated that he requested a room beside his father and the placed them on both sides of us 'because the heater was broken' The Patels-from India refused to reimbures us for a day we didn't even stay there. FYI-the continental breakfast is a box of little Debbie cakes and watered down coffee. Enjoy.
My husband and I went for a quick weekend getaway on our anniversay last March. Room was kind of small, but had a perfect view of the ocean at Rockaway beach with a little path behind Inn, going right down to the water. Staff very friendly and accomedating and pet friendly, too. We had our little dog with us! Cute little boutiques in cul-de-sac were Inn is located. We are going back for another weekend get away next month.
