We booked through Kayak, and paid upfront, The hotel was closed, building works were being undertaken, it had been closed for over a year and builders on site had no idea when it would open. Cant believe they would list a hotel and take my money, had a battle getting my money back. Got a cheeky email, "As a gesture of good will we have not applied the $45 booking cancellation fee." lol, I've got photos of the hotel and email chain.
Pros. Beautiful place to live in with greenery all over, staff was very humble very cordial very polite always smiling always ready to help i wish i had spent some more days there
Cons. no regrets
