It was very convenient to the events I was there for.
It wasn't very clean and I had to ask for things like toilet paper and towels after the first day.
It was very cheap Location was great
Everything was old, dingy, and broken. From the carpet to the bathroom sink, to the room phone, to the ice machine. This is a horrible place to stay for and couples. I literally would only recommend this hotel to like young guys out to Miami and trying to be cheap not Really caring about the hotel because there is no women to impress.
The price was great. We discovered that it is a VERY EASY & inexpensive train journey from the airport. There are a few platform & train changes so not maybe good for young families, tho the monorail is fun. Breakfast was good & included egg & sausage. Items were replenished very before they ran out. Hotel really needs a good spring clean & renovate to restore to its former glory. It was quiet & in great location for tourists.
Poor costumer service. The hotel needs a new look
The hotel is next to the river, and in downtown, so it gave us the opportunity to walk around without driving in traffic. The room was clean and big. We were happy the breakfast was included.
The valet parking was a little pricey.
This hotel is better labelled as a motel. The customer service is non-existent - I came to check in at 11:30pm and waited until someone showed up to the front desk - he attended to one person while others came in. Two minutes later a new person showed up and decided to ignore me while attending to another person who came in after me! Had to pay US$25 for parking although is advertised as "free self parking". False advertising at best since the hotel doesn't actually have self parking. Checked out the next day at 10am and asked for coffee (COFFEE-not breakfast) and was told they don't have coffee past breakfast which closes at 9am.
The location was great and the room was clean. Great value if all you are looking for is a place to sleep that is clean.
Strange smell in the hallways, non-attentive staff. Valet parking is a confusing affair.
This Motel is hard to find. Internet was easily overwelmed. No parking on site and you had to pay extra for a valet service that is poorly run. It is also older, which doesn't normal bother me, however it is poorly maintained. The Elevator felt like it would fail at any moment.
The bedroom and bathroom were huge and the value was good compared to other rooms I looked at.I would stay again if I am coming to the, area again.
Great location, spacious rooms.
Dated decor, difficult to deal with the booking office.
25.00 a day for parking
No lunch or dinner
You really can't beat the price for the location. Rooms are huge and staff was friendly, accommodating, and realistic. If you are looking for a room to rest your head while enjoying Miami then this hotel is for you.
This hotel never left the 1980's! Furniture, wall paper, inside look. I would equate the stay to a red roof in, however, you can't go wrong for the price. Also, be aware that Miami will nickel and dime you til you are broke! Only parking available is valet and I believe it was 35.00 a night!! Also, they charge you for the safe that's in your room (just let them know you won't be using it and do not want to be charged for it).
Good value for the price. central location.
Hotel needs a face lift. Small, simple rooms. Not the most comfortable bed. Don't rely on the free WiFi for anything more than emails.
My wife burned her hand, do to not having COLD water. And no warning signs. the hotel showed us 2 other rooms and all of them had the same issue. After that they did not seem very concerned about my wife's burn hand. Hotel said parking was included, however 25.00 dollars. Had to be paid.
Location was convenient
I'm sure this place looked nice in the 80s but hasn't been updated since. Coil mattress VERY uncomfortable. Had to pay to park
I like the amount of space.
I did not like the pay of valet. That was tricky. When booking online. There were no information regarding paying for parking.
The hotel says it has parking included. But when you get there it is only valet and $25.00 per night . Also can only pay it in cash. I find the information misleading. The Hitel is good for a business stay. Clean and the rooms are big.
In the downtown area, best if catching a cruise n close to public transport
All was fine, except the rooms has very less lights
The hotel smell bad all of it, from the entrance. Excellent location, bad maintenance hotel. The hotel don't have any restaurant, bar or cafeteria in the hotel or close by.
I don't smoke and it smelled like a ashtray, the staff didn't have the reservation correct, and the charge for a safe in the room that I never used!
The staff did not even look at us when we walked in. It was very hot in the lobby, the valet person was very rude. The day we left the manager was oitside yelling at the cleaning lady over some crumbs on the drive way when there was a line of people at the front desk waiting to check out. He did not even bother to help check people out. Only one elevator working and breakfast was horrible. Bad loction no parking nothing
Great central air conditioning. Location was perfect. Friendly Staff. Comfortable beds. Free breakfast buffet.
Nothing major to complain about
As long as your rate is less than $100, this is a great find for the road warrior. Clean and safe, great continental breakfast (sausage and eggs for protein), and good WiFi in the rooms (at least on the 10th floor). Many or most might prefer a place with bell staff and more amenities, and maybe an ice bucket. But if you are a boy scout and carry a spare gallon zip lock bag, and park your car on a nearby lot, this can be a great value. Would stay there for business again in a heartbeat, but not for leisure or a vacation.
Valet parking was expensive. Not much fruit for breakfast, but prefer they have the protein that they did. Chair in the room would be an improvement.
The room was dirty, bathroom floor was filthy. The mirror in the room had a large crack in it and was taped together. The front desk took around 20 minutes to check us in, and we were the only people in line. Online it said valet parking was $20 per day, but it was actually $30 per day.
Not a whole lot . Foyer/lobby was very nice.
Toilet didn't work, room was spartan. Check in staff was inhospitable
Rooms were very large. Free Continental breakfast
TV' volume didn't work and no cold water in the tap (only hot available from either knob.
Lady at front desk was very nice.
Parking is too expensive.
Good location Cheap
Uncaring staff AC barely works Computer system down when trying to check-in No wifi in rooms No vent fan in bathroom TV signal was bad Pipes were leaking from the wall causing wet carpet
My room and hallway smelled like smoke. There was a lot of noise from the streets, so I couldn't sleep. It is valet parking ONLY, $20 a day and the valet attendant was rude and told me to go park elsewhere. The people at the front desk were just as rude. I was sitting on the couch in the lobby and had bed bugs crawling all over me after only a few minutes. Overall a terrible place to stay.
Nice rooms, clean
Obligatory valet. 20$ lost. Cheap beds
No hot water in the shower
Great location, right in downtown Miami, extremely affordable, very nice bathroom and shower.
No phones in rooms, no wifi in rooms, mattresses were kind of old and junky.
Price. Staff. It's not a fancy hotel nor does it try to be.
The decore is so dated that its interesting. A strange hotel.
Place was a dump
The location, for business, is very good. Very friendly receptionist.
The phone in my room (1404) wasn't working; There was no ice in the machine at 9th floor.
