The location is incredible ~ right on the beautiful blue beach of Agios Ioannis. The family that owns and runs the hotel is very nice and acommodating.
The screen on the bathroom window was broken allowing bugs to get in. The bathroom window would not close and lock at all since the entire window frame has warped over time. Breakfast could be better.
The location is excellent, a few steps from the beach. Tavernas are very close, with big variety. Our room was very spacious, with nice design, excellent bed (Cocomat!). The girl at the reception is very helpfull.
Inexistant breakfast (cold boiled eggs, no hot water for tea -we had to ask for it !!!- no fruits etc). Room without window shade -our baby was waking up at sunrise!. For the price (more than €100/night) I was waiting for much more, maybe there is good intention but not a good result after all. You feel like they are amateurs (family business but not very efficient). Luck of cleaning personel. No wifi in the rooms, poor TV reception, no international channels.
Next to a beautiful beach, near restaurants and mini markets. Great view from the balcony.
There was no way to keep the room shading. The curtain was almost transparent and there was no shutter. We had to wake up at 9 because of the sun. The personnel did not help us at all on this issue.
We found the staff rather stand-offish and not nearly as hospitable as all the other places we stayed in during our month in Greece. Also, my friend had her gold watch taken from our room whilst we were at the beach one afternoon.
